3 GreenLife Underground tanks system Assembly instructions Attention! Read thoroughly and completely before installation! Installation must be done by a specialist company! When making the pit, please ensure safety (BGV C22, DIN 4124). Do not dig the pit for the underground tank in a depression. When installing the tank in areas prone to flooding or waterlogging, areas with high groundwater levels and areas with cohesive, impermeable soil, a minimum 1.1-fold security coefficient against the rising up and deformation of the empty tank must be ensured. If necessary, an adequately dimensioned drainage line must terminate in a vertically fitted shaft fitted with a submersible pump that pumps off the ecess water. The pump must be checked regularly! When installing an underground tank in an area with a slope, make sure that the lateral earth pressure is intercepted in disturbed soil by an appropriately designed retaining wall. The environment around the tank should be permeable. The pit should be set up close to the ; the distance to the building should at least correspond to the tank diameter (Fig. 1). The pit surface area is the tank size + 30 cm in each direction (Fig. 2). The ma.topsoil layer covering the underground tanks: 1.10 m. The slope must be done according to DIN The pit depth is the tank height + 15 cm bed of sand, stonefree and flat compacted by hand (Figure 3). The underground tank must be lowered into the pit (Fig. 4) and must be aligned on the bed of sand with a spirit level. After the laying of thee mains, the inflow and the overflow, everything must be aligned again by means of a spirit level (Fig. 5). Then the tank is filled with water 30 cm water level in the tank. Then fill the pit with short-grain gravel 4/16 up to the water level and compact it by hand (Fig. 6). The same operation top up with about 30 cm of water, fill the pit back to the water level with short-grain gravel 4/16 and compact by hand repeat until the tank is covered. It is important to ensure that the tank is evenly embedded on all sides. Now you have to backfill the ecavation pit. The soil ecavated from the pit (stone-free close to the tank wall) may be used for this purpose. Compaction must be done by hand! The surface of the filled ecavation pit should be such that surface water cannot collect here in order that it can trickle away at this point. Connections are ready for, prepared for DN 100 underground drainage pipes. Combining tanks to increase storage volume can be done via the mounting surfaces on the bottom of the tanks using GreenLife special seals and an underground drainage pipe that etends at least 20 inches into the tank. Please note: In order to make it vehicle-bearing, please use our sliding dome construction in conjunction with the plastic safety cover that can be driven on (ma. 600 kg wheel load, TÜVtested). Etra measures are needed if the weight of trucks has to be taken into consideration. Contact your dealer with regard to this. Failure to follow the installation instructions will void any warranty! For safety reasons, a second person must be present if anyone enters the container! After being opened, the cover must always be screwed together so it is childproof. Choosing a site. Site near the house s. Fig. 1 Stake out pit dimensions and secure construction site against unauthorized entry. When using a dome etension and/or a sliding dome, the depth of the pit has to be changed accordingly. * Tank height + 15 cm sand bed Fig. 3 Fig. 4 Fig. 5 Fig. 2 Tank diam. 30 cm Min. tank diam. 30 cm 30 cm 30 cm h* GreenLife GmbH * Sacktannen 1 * Schwerin, Germany Tel.: / * info@greenlife.info Fig For technical questions: info@greenlife.info

With an appropriately falling water table, your soil have a more or less has more or less proper drainage. Compare the result with the table to calculate the storage volume. If the water level has not fallen, then you should not build any soak-away system in this place. The retention tanks store the and release it after a delay at a limited flow rate to the sewer system. With a flow rate of l/sec, for eample, 2,592 litres of can be continuously released into the sewer system in 48 hours. When correctly dimensioned, this variant of the underground tank can be used for harvesting in the home and garden, as well as for retention.
