(Part of Technical Bid) Dt: We have received indent to undertake the supply of Spices in the box packing as per the details mentioned below. Supply Category Category 1 (Total: 425 gms) : Indian Clove (75 gms), Cardamom (75 gms), Black Pepper - Bold (100 gms), Split Cinnamon (25 gms), Cashew Nut (75 gms), Almond Nut (75 gms) Category 2 (Total: 700 gms) : Indian Clove (100 gms), Cardamom (100 gms), Black Pepper - Bold (150 gms), Split Cinnamon (50 gms), Cashew Nut (150 gms), Almond Nut (150 gms) Category 3 (Total: 1000 gms) : Indian Clove (150 gms), Cardamom (150 gms), Black Pepper - Bold (250 gms), Split Cinnamon (50 gms), Cashew Nut (200 gms), Almond Nut (200 gms) Terms and Conditions for the supply. 1. The supply of all the spices should be of Grade I quality (i.e superior/premium quality). 2. Said spices need to be packed in small pouches and should be packed in seal tight covers in order to prevent the aroma and quality of the spices.

2 3. Small packs need to be placed in the plastic boxes. The plastic boxes should be of PP-Virgin Polymer, Material-Food Grade container. The box should have sufficient strength to withstand the transportation through Road/Train/Air till Delhi. 4. Plastic Box size should be as per the contents of the material. (Size of Box should Neither to Big nor Small Size & preferably rectangular in shape, with sizes like 55,66,77,88,99 based on manufacturing companies). 5. Various sleeve designs to be submitted prior printing of the same. Sleeves should be as per the size of the plastic box. The thickness of the paper sheet should be maintained to avoid wrinkles. The design sleeve should be finalized as per the approval of STC. Printing of the same need to be undertaken by the supplier. Cost of design and printing of sleeve should be taken into basic price per box. Sleeve sizes to be maintained as per the box shapes/sizes. 6. Shrink wrapping of the consignment need to be done on the sleeve. 7. The plastic boxes need to be packed in the carton boxes and same need to be bubbled wrapped/ covered with plastic or HDPE bags in order to prevent the theft/damages in transit via road/train/air. 8. Lead time for delivery should be of 5 days from date of placing the order. 9. The consignment to be delivered to the address specified by the STC. (Preferable at Yeshwantpur Railway Station or STC Bangalore Office). Address of delivery will be communicated on confirmation of the order. 11. Rates Quoted should be (Basic + Applicable Taxes) to be quoted separately for all the four category in price Bid. Basic price should consist of : Cost of Spices (Premium Quality) + Packing Material for pouches + Plastic Box + Design of Sleeve+ Printing of Sleeve+ Carton Box + Bubble Wrap or HDPE/Plastic Bags + Striping the consignment by plastic tape + other expenses. Tax : CST/VAT + Any other statutory Taxes. 13. The rates quoted should be valid for 60 days form date of opening of tender. 14. The total no of boxes will be required in range of nos. However the exact quantity will be finalized later on basis of quotes submitted. Supplier should retain the price if the order quantity increased or decreased beyond the stated quantity. 15. It is to be clearly agreed in your offer that you shall take full responsibility for the quality and quantity variations and claim if any, and agree to settle the same, including replacement, from your side, indemnifying The State Trading Corporation of India Ltd from any such claim.

3 16. STC shall have the right to wholly or partly cancel the order/tender in any case. 17. The quotation should invariably state that the tendered agrees to all the terms and conditions for supply of this tender. Should sign each page of tender as token of acceptance. 18. The last date for receipt of quotations through CPP is before 1200 hours on 4 th October 2016.
