4 THE SENTINEL RANGE SENTINEL B BD33/94 TYPE 1 BURIED JOINTS FOR USE UNDER CONTINUOUS SURFACING A range of buried joints, incorporating a proprietary PVC flashing strip designed for various movement ranges. The flashing is bonded across the expansion gap and incorporated into the Eliminator waterproofing system to form a continuous waterproofing detail below the asphalt surfacing. A sealant detail should be installed by the surfacing contractor into the completed asphalt wearing course. l Movement range 0 to 20mm l Installed with Eliminator waterproofing membrane l Steel cover plate utilised for larger gaps l UK Highways Agency Registered SENTINEL NJ BD33/94 TYPE 4 NOSING JOINT Designed for small movements in high load and high wear situations, Sentinel NJ is a surface mounted nosing joint, comprising a central pre-formed compression seal, bonded between nosings of a high strength mortar, installed after the final surfacing has been placed. 5 SENTINEL EMR BD33/94 TYPE 6 ELASTOMERIC IN METAL RAILS A surface mounted mechanical system incorporating a central elastomeric seal inserted into two steel carrier rails which are bonded to the bridge deck with a durable, fast setting high performance resin mortar. 6 THE SENTINEL RANGE SENTINEL SABA REINFORCED RESIN EXPANSION JOINT FOR COMPLEX BUILDINGS AND CAR PARKS Designed specifically to provide waterproofing continuity across expansion gaps in complex building projects, the system consists of a two component, liquid applied, solvent free, reinforced resin membrane applied in-situ to form a highly flexible expansion joint. Installed to almost any as built shape, watertight changes in direction and intersections in all dimensions are possible. The system is also suitable for use in car parks, bund lining and tanking situations as the system is highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals and oils. l Movement range 0-50mm* l Vertical, horizontal and shear movements acceptable l Waterproof expansion joint l Suitable for complex geometry and directional changes l Excellent track record *Larger movements can be accommodated. 7 ANCILLARY PRODUCTS ELIMINATOR BRIDGE DECK WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE DECSEAL DUAL FUNCTION WATERPROOFING AND SURFACING SYSTEM A rapid cure, cold liquid spray applied system based on methyl methacrylate (MMA) resins, Eliminator cures to form a tough, seamless 100% effective membrane with no vulnerable joints. l Fully compatible with the Sentinel joint range l British Board of Agrement approval for use on 7 day old concrete l Provides exceptional service life l Unparalleled track record of success on bridges of every design and size, in every kind of climate with all surfacing types l HAPAS approved; numerous international approvals and accreditations. METASET STRUCTURAL SEALANTS FAST CURING JOINT SEALANTS Fast curing mastics designed for sealing joints and gaps where low movement is likely to occur. METASET RAPID CURING RESIN REPAIR MORTARS Range of MMA resin based repair mortars used for the rapid repair of any damage to the arrises of the concrete deck or making good surface defects in the deck prior to the installation of the joint or coating.
