Patparganj, Delhi /10/2012 Sub. :Limited Tender for Construction of Aluminium cabin at 3 rd floor (SDM unit) Dear Sir, The Board intends to invite sealed limited tenders for the above subject cited work at 3 rd floor in the SDM unit. Interested agencies which are specialised in the field of aluminium work and having executed minimum 2 3 works of equivalent magnitude may apply on the prescribed format enclosed with the tender form. An EMD of Rs.1000/- in the form of DD/BD payable to The Secretary, CBSE, Delhi is to be annexed with the tender. Experience documents also be attached along with the tender. Sealed tenders complete in all respect must be dropped in the tender box kept at the Reception Hall, Ground floor CBSE, Regional Office Delhi, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, Patparganj, Delhi on or before 31/10/2012 upto 02:00 P.M. Tenders which are either late or incomplete shall be summarily rejected. The Secretary, CBSE reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. Ventilators partitions with extruded build up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z section and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 1285, fixed with raw plugs and screws or with, fixing clips, or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions. At top bottom and sides with required PVC/neoprene felt etc. Aluminium section shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including elevate angle. Aluminium snap beading for glazing/panelling. CP brass stainless steel screw. All complete as per mchitectural drawings and the direction of Engineer - in- charge. (Gla /mg and panelling to be paid for separately ): (A) Anodised aluminium (anodized transparent or 82 Kg. dyed to required shade according to IS: Minimum anodic coating of grade Ac 15) (B) For shutters of doors, 16 Kg. windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fictions wherever required including the cost of PVC/neoprene gasket required ( Fittings shall be paid for separately): 2. 5 Terms & conditions 1. The work shall be carried out as per CPWD Specifications & as per directions of Engineer In-charge. 2. Time is the essence of the contract; hence the work is to be completed within 7 days after the issue of the work order. 3. The material shall be got approved through the Engineer In-charge before start of work. 4. The joinery of the partitions has to be perfect inline, plumb & frames grouted wherever feasible. 5. In case of any damage to the wall/floor in the blg., the agency shall have to make good the same. 6. In case of delayed execution of work, per week shall be levied subject to maximum of 10% would be imposed. 7. No running/ advance payment shall be made to the agency. Final payment shall be released within 30 days of the submission of the bill. 8. Security equivalent to 5% of the value of work shall be retained for a period of six months & released provided there is no deficiency/ complaint is noticed during the defect liability period. 9. No T & P shall be issued by the Board. 10. The agency must employ its bonafide, honest & well behaved workers. In case of any incident of theft, burglary, mischievous deeds, damage/ loss to the Board s properly by the workers of the agency. It shall be solely responsible & the loss shall be borne by it. 11. Quantity indicated may decrease or increase. 12. In case any dispute, The Chairman CBSE shall be the sole Arbitrator & his decision shall be binding on both the parties.
