6 CEILING ROLL (Loft Roll) With partially cut perforations, Combi-cut rolls offer installers the flexibility and convenience to make narrower roll widths, eg., 600mm, without the use of tools for cutting whilst being robust to allow installation of the full roll width as a single piece. Our longer rolls means more m 2 per package, less fetching and carrying at the store, less unloading at site and less lifting into the loft so the installer can get on with the installation quicker Factory applied perforation cuts make it easy and quick to create two precise and equally sized 600mm wide rolls no tools required this allows better control by preventing telescoping when the product is unrolled ensures an even fill by removing potential gaps at the extremities of the joists eliminates the need for on-site cutting to speed up the installation As much as 45% of energy is lost through the roof. So if you have air-conditioning or heating, insulating your roof is the easiest and cheapest way to really cut those energy bills Ceiling Roll Joist UV protective and moisture / water resistant outer packaging film allows full pallets to be stored externally. * See back page for descriptions South African s calculated assuming 23 C mean temperature. 7 DON T GET CAUGHT SHORT CEILING ROLL IN LONGER ROLL LENGTHS In loft insulation size really does matter. Our market leading technology allows us to produce a much longer roll that can still be handled by one person so you don t get caught short! CEILING ROLL BENEFITS BOTH THE STOCKIST AND END-USER More m 2 per roll = More m 2 per pallet = More m 2 per volume of stocking space = More m 2 per vehicle delivery = BETTER WAREHOUSE UTILISATION More m 2 per vehicle delivery = Fewer journeys to site = Less fuel used = Less carbon emitted = ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFIT Virtually half the number of rolls to insulate a loft = Less packaging = ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFIT 50% fewer trips up the loft for the end-user = Saves time and increases profit = ADDED VALUE 10.00m Green Polyester = 12.00m 2 per roll* 10.00m Pink = 12.00m 2 per roll* 19.00m Knauf Insulation Ceiling Roll = 22.80m 2 per roll 50mm thickness used for illustrative purposes * South African reference 7

Slabs per pack Un-cut Un-cut Un-cut Significantly safer than other materials and reduces the risk of fire during construction phase - it s a building site, sparks happen Improves thermal and acoustic performance of external façade systems Not familiar with this concept? It is occurring more frequently in Africa on commercial buildings. Knauf have now sold RainScreen systems into projects in Africa It is increasingly being specified particularly in buildings for US and European organisations working to their own internal specifications This product is non-combustible A1 Euroclass for reaction to fire. That s crucial in this application because it means RainScreen can be installed on buildings over 18m** without reference to further fire testing or certification unlike some forms of insulation RainScreen s semi-rigid nature make it easy to handle and friction-fit between façade components and brackerty Like virtually everything we make, RainScreen is compression packed to take up less space, is lightweight and easy to cut. ** UK reference Block wall Rainscreen Slab Brackets Façade * See back page for descriptions South African s calculated assuming 23 C mean temperature. It is non-combustible and primarily designed to improve thermal and acoustic insulation in commercial and industrial roof spaces above purlins and can be used in new or existing buildings. Please note: when mineral wool is compressed such as between the cladding material and the surface of the purlins, the thermal and acoustic performance is compromised significantly impacting real performance of the roof as a whole compared to the design performance. The designer should consider the inclusion of a bracket and rail or spacer system the prevents compression and maximised real performance.
