12 Select Airport Study Experience Miami International Airport, Miami World Gateway, North Terminal Development, Miami, FL: Peer review of a new terminal structure and automated people mover system. The project consists of reinforced concrete and structural steel framing of over two million square feet of terminal space. O Hare International Airport, Terminal 2 E / F Upgrades, Chicago, IL: Feasibility studies and concept design for an existing 31-gate terminal. The project scope included the development of several schemes with the architect to upgrade and modernize the building to improve the passenger experience. The project included evaluation of the existing 50-year-old building structure to conform to modern building codes. O Hare International Airport, ConRAC and ATS Extension, Chicago, IL: Structural engineering peer review services and BIM support for the joint-use ConRAC / parking facility and automated transit system (ATS) extension. The project will consolidate all of the airport s rental car companies and will provide additional public parking spaces. Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Feasibility Study, Detroit, MI: Study and analysis to determine the feasibility of converting the Smith Terminal into an administration facility for the airport. Los Angeles World Airports, On-Call Engineering Services, Task 015, Los Angeles, CA: Structural investigation and design of Continental Airport Phase 1. Incheon International Airport, Phase III, Incheon, KOR: Structural peer review services through 90% CD for Terminal 2 at Incheon International Airport. Structural challenges included achieving structural safety, efficiency, constructability and cost savings, while providing an exceeding structure.
