2 Two additional coatings for paper both are FDA compliant for food contact OMBRO WAX PRW is a repulpable, paraffin wax replacement product for food packaging OMBRO WAX PRW is manufactured from a renewable source of edible grade fatty products and is totally biodegradable, compost able and digestible. It is designed to replace petroleum based impregnating waxes used in paper food packaging. Its unique characteristics make it extremely useful in applications where the spent packaging is to be repulped or recycled. OMBRO Wax PWR resists and repels water and humidity with the same efficiency as currently utilized paraffinic impregnating waxes. OMBRO WAX PRW is designed to replace petroleum based impregnating waxes used in paper food packaging.
