4 Middle Modi Hydropower Project (2 x 7.55 MW) Page 4 of 6 PREAMBLE TO PRICE SCHEDULE 1. This preamble to Price schedule is provided to broadly understand the scope of work. However, it shall include all works as specified in the bidding documents in detail and contractor shall quote the price accordingly. The scope of this tender will consist of the complete hydromechanical works for Middle Modi Hydro Power Project. 2. The Contractor shall quote a fixed lump sum prices for the Hydromechanical Works along with break ups of the cost for different subgroups as indicated in the price schedules for the purpose of intermediate payments. 3. Details of work: This work consists of design, engineering, getting approval of the design calculations and construction drawings, procurement and transportation of materials to the site, erection, testing and commissioning of hydromechanical works. The hydromechanical works consist of trash racks at the two intakes, intake weir sluice gates with hoists, stop logs with gantry crane, gates at both intakes with rope drum hoists, gates in link ducts with hoists, gates in silt flushing ducts with hoists, draft tube protection gates with hoists, tail race gate with hoist, steel liner in penstocks etc. including all control and instrumentation systems, constant discharge valve and pipe for ecological release, gates in fish ladder etc. The complete compensation for the above works shall be included in the fixed price quoted for HM works.
