1 ADDENDUM #2 Project Canadian Mental Health Association, Parry Sound Branch Reference Bid Documents Date Project No Issued By Ailan McKenzie The following information supplements and/or supersedes the bid documents issued on Thursday April 5, This Addendum forms part of the contract documents and is to be read, interpreted, and coordinated with all other parts. The cost of all contained herein is to be included in the contract sum. The following revisions supersede the information contained in the original drawings and specifications issued for the above-named project to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by inserting its number and date on the Tender Form. Failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification. Drawing and Specification List to add to Tender Documents: General: The communications portion of work is being extracted from the general contract, therefore no bids should be collected from communications contractors. Refer to Communications addendum 2 for details. Specifications: 1. SECTION ELASTOMERIC MEMBRANE ROOFING EPDM (PAGE 4 OF 10) Add CGC Securock Glass Mat Roof Board as an acceptable material Underlayment Base bid: 6 mm thick DensDeck Prime by Georgia Pacific CGC equivalent: 6 mm Securock Glass Mat Roof Board 2. SECTION MOBILE STORAGE SHELVING (PAGE 3 OF 8) Add Spacefile as an acceptable manufacturer. 2 2 of 3 Architectural: Q1. Do you have an updated floor plan that includes the mobile drawn in? R1. See appended Part Second Floor Plan; Central File Storage. Electrical: Refer to attached communications addendum 2. General Tender Questions: Q2. Only the drops are noted as existing. Please confirm that all distribution work on the plans is new construction. R2. On the ground floor, drawing M200, the drops and 600x400 S/A and R/A mains into the corridor are existing. Everything connected to them going into our space is new. Beyond the demising wall is not in our scope. On the second floor, all supply and return ducting is new. Q3. Confirm whose responsibility it is to remove existing HVAC, and what the extent is (unless that is the responsibility of GC). Clarification required here. R3. Demolition note 1. On M200 and M201 instructs the mechanical contractor to remove all existing ductwork not being reused, diffusers and grilles to be removed. Q4. Section ; : Can you please clarify if it is mandatory for the Steel Ramp be AODA compliant for accessibility? R4: The steel ramp needs to meet AODA and OBC accessibility. Q5. Section ; : Carriages. This states that welded carriages or carriages with formed lips are unacceptable. Can you please confirm that welded carriages are acceptable? R5: Welded carriages are acceptable. Q6. Section ; : Drive Shafts. This states that Solid steel rod is not acceptable. Can you please confirm that Solid Steel drive shafts are acceptable? R6: Solid steel rod is acceptable.

General Clarifications: Please note the following clarification from addendum 1. Q1 a) and b) and Q10 a) and b) had conflicting responses. Please note the correct responses below are R1. a) and b). Q1. With respect to item # 20 (Questions) on page 11 of Section (Instructions to Bidders) please: a) Confirm for everyone the question submission deadline date and time R1. a) Questions may be asked up until 72 hours prior to bid closing. b) Confirm for everyone the release of final addenda deadline date and time R1. b) The final addenda will be released no later than 48 hours prior to bid closing. Please note that an additional date and time have been established for generals and sub-trades to visit the site again based on Q6 from addendum 1. See below for revised response to Q6: Q6. Is there a date and time trades can come to inspect the space more fully? R6. The owner will be at the site Tuesday April 24, 2018 at 10:00am for contractors and/or subtrades to complete investigations/walk-throughs.
