6 CERTIFICATIONS AND BASE BID Base Bid, Single-Prime (All Trades) Contract: The undersigned Bidder, having carefully examined the Bidding Documents (as set forth and defined in Division 0 Specification Instructions to Bidders ), and the Contract Documents, including the General Construction Contract between Owner and Contractor (set forth in Specification Section Owner and Contractor Agreement ), the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, based on the AIA A General Conditions as modified therein (set forth in Specification Section Project General Conditions ), the Drawings, Specifications, and all subsequent Addenda, issued by the Owner and/or its Architect, having visited the site, and being familiar with all conditions and requirements of the W ork, hereby agrees to furnish all material, labor, equipment and services, including all scheduled Allowances and Unit Prices, necessary to complete the construction of the above-named project, according to the requirements of the Procurement and Contracting Documents, for the stipulated sum of: A. TIME OF COMPLETION If awarded this Contract, the undersigned Bidder acknowledges that work of the Base Bid and accepted Alternate Bids shall commence and be completed, including completion of punchlist items, performance testing, commissioning and such remedial work as may be required by Owner, within the Contract Time and dates set forth in the Contract. TAX EXEMPTIONS The undersigned Bidder has informed itself and all its prospective subcontractors and suppliers of the tax exempt status of the Owner, as set forth in the Division 0 Specification Instructions to Bidders, and therefore, has not included these taxes in his Base Bid price. SUBSTITUTIONS The undersigned Bidder has based his bid upon the materials, products, articles, equipment, brands, manufacturers and processes described in the Bidding Documents or upon approved equivalents or substitutions as set forth in the Division 0 Specification Instructions to Bidders and Division 1 Specification Substitution Procedures.
