1 ROYALFRAME50 SLAB SHORING SYSTEM ROYAL FRAME 50 ROYALframe50 is a lightweight, improved alternate formwork shoring frame. It has galvanised tube legs, each with a 51mm outside diameter and a safe work load (SWL) of 40kN. The ROYALframe50 series is manufactured and certified to Australian Standards using seamless steel tube for increased tensile strength, pressure ratings and durability. When steel tube is rolled and welded, the weakest point in the tube is the welded seam. A seamless steel tube eliminates this weakness, so that tensile strength is uniform around the circumference. These frames are strong, light and easy to handle, making them quick to assemble and dismantle. The 1500mm 2400mm high frames have three (3) horizontal bars, rather than the conventional two (2), making it safer and easier to achieve safe working platforms. The frames are 1200mm wide, facilitating ease of transport. Frames may be stacked in bundles and laid flat side by side to fit within the 2400mm wide truck tray. The ROYALframe50 has an additional drop latch pin to assist with on-site frame spacing flexibility and is compatible with other manufacturers pin locations. These unique frames are strong yet lighter to handle, making them faster and easier to work with, and further reducing labour costs in assembling and dismantling. These frames may be used as a standard shoring frame system with the additional advantage of being narrower, giving the flexibility for assembly around restricted areas such as between narrow rooms, or pre-cast or prefabricated plasterboard or plastic wall bracing, or within corridors and stair case landings. They are easy to handle and manoeuvre through and around corridors, stair cases, and pre-cast/prefabricated wall bracing. This 900mm wide frame is the perfect solution for quickly and easily creating a bracing bay on the modular slab panel system (i.e. the 1800mm x 900mm wide aluminium ROYALdek system). These slim frames use the same components as the ROYALframe50 (including jacks, crowns and braces). 2 FALSEWORK SOLUTIONS: SLAB SHORING SYSTEM - ROYALFRAME50 SERIES ROYAL JACK 50 The ROYALjack50 is an adjustable screw jack with an effective height of 580mm. It has a 40mm diameter coarse rolled thread, which is inserted into the ROYALframe50 legs to give an SWL of 25-40kN. The ROYALjack50 tube is manufactured using seamless steel tube, which has the benefit of increased tensile strength, pressure ratings and durability. These jacks have the same load capacity as the conventional shoring jacks (48mm OD), however ROYALjack50s are lighter making them faster and easier to use and handle than the conventional shoring jacks. The ROYALjack50 is available with three (3) styles of heads: a Double U head, which fits two (2) bearers, a Single U Head, which fits one (1) bearer, or as a flat jack. The flat jack plate has a 30mm diameter hole to allow a spigot to be inserted for a ROYAL U Head Hat attachment to convert a flat jack into a U Head jack and also allows the ROYALdek Crown to be inserted to be used for modular aluminium slab panels. These jacks have a long-handled nut which gives better leverage to use and turn on the coarse thread making it easier to adjust at assembly stage to the desirable height and quick to release when dismantling. The nut is manufactured from cast steel for durability and reduced hammer impacts. The ROYALjack50 is used throughout the ROYALframe50 series, the ROYALformstage system, (modular scaffolding system) and the open-ended, 51mm OD vertical standards. They are light and easily inserted into the legs of the ROYALframe50 to connect frames vertically so that the frames may be added on top each other so that the falsework may be extended to the desirable strutting height. They are also used in the ROYALformstage (modular formwork and scaffolding) system when joining open-ended vertical standards to achieve the desirable strutting height. ROYALspigot50 Connector 0.43 RFS50 ROYAL ROCKET 50 The ROYALrocket50 is a simple and effective attachment used to extend the frame leg by either 300mm or 500mm. It is made from galvanised steel tube, has a 51mm diameter and a welded 60mm OD outer sleeve, which slides over the top of frame leg to maintain the leg s vertical extension. The ROYALrocket50 is used to extend the ROYALjack50, reducing the need for additional frames and base flat jacks and saving time and money. It acts as a telescopic frame leg extension for the ROYALframe50 that uses the frame holes to secure the inner extension. It is an ideal solution for achieving greater height range and flexibility over the adjustable screw jacks for those higher strutting structures. Using the ROYALinner50 may reduce or eliminate the need for additional frames and/or rockets. ROYALinner RFI50 16

They distribute the load from vertical leg load-bearing member to the supporting structure. They are fundamentally required to enable the falsework to remain stable, even when exposed to different load combinations. They are used on flat surfaces where jacks are not required or on freshly laid concrete. Two (2) types are available, including the base plate with spigot, which is secured under the leg during assembly, or the flat base plate which may be slid under the frame s leg after assembly. It fits into the top plate of the inner prop s head, and/ or the flat jack s plate, creating a U shape (200mm x 200mmx 8mm) that fits over the flat 150mm x 150mm plate to accommodate one or two 100mm wide timber bearers side by side, to act as a U Head. These cross braces are locked in position at either end of the brace with drop latch pins. The ROYALbrace SF is a traditional cross brace that uses the imperial measurement system (feet and inches). The bracket may be simply hooked onto the horizontal ledger bar and bearing on the shoring frame leg of the ROYALframe50 or ROYALframe60. At the end of the triangle is a tubular end to support an adjustable jack. An additional fixed angled spigot on the triangle allows for an additional prop on angle to brace and support the bracket for extra support should it be required. It has galvanised tube legs, each with a 60mm outside diameter and a safe work load of 45kN, manufactured and certified to Australian Standards. The frame uses the Imperial System of measurement (feet and inches) with a width of inches (1280mm) and heights ranging from 2ft 7ft (610mm 2134mm). Two horizontal bars and a welded, V-shaped tubular bracing system span between the two vertical legs.the drop latch pins are located above the top horizontal bar, 150mm from both top and bottom of the legs (on a 6ft frame). The jacks are heavy duty and are available as either a Double U head, which fits two (2) bearers, or as a flat base. The flat base has a 30mm diameter hole to allow a spigot to be inserted, so as to allow the flat jack to be used as a U head jack if required. These jacks have a long-handled nut which improves leverage, making it easy to turn on the coarse thread and easily adjust its height at assembly stage. It also provides a quick release for dismantling. The nut is manufactured from cast steel for durability and reduced hammer impact. 5 ROYAL ROCKET 60 The ROYALrocket60 is a simple and effective attachment used to extend the ROYALframe60 by either 300mm or 500mm. It is made from galvanised steel tube, has a 60mm diameter and a welded 60mm outer sleeve which slides over the top of the frame leg to maintain the leg s vertical extension. The ROYALrocket60 may also be inserted into the ROYALjack60 to achieve extra strutting height. Its use reduces the need for additional frames and base jacks while saving time and money. 6 FALSEWORK SOLUTIONS: MODULAR ALUMINIUM PANEL SYSTEMS 20 ROYALFORMSTAGE MODULAR HIGH STRUTTING FORMWORK & SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM ROYAL FORMSTAGE ROYALformstage is a steel modular metric scaffolding system, used as falsework and/or safety scaffolding. Ideally used as: Standard strutting falsework 1m to 3m heights; High strutting falsework 3m to 20m with safety catch decks; Scaffolding with edge protection for fall prevention; and Working platforms at heights from 1m to 20m in 500mm increments. The system is quickly and easily installed and dismantled in a modular grid and can be used with either ROYALdek panels or conventional formwork. Similar to Kwikstage scaffolding but with vertical standards that have a larger diameter (51mm) and a thick 4mm tube wall V welded at a nominal 500mm. The standards are open ended to enable the ROYALjack50 and the ROYALspigot50 to be inserted at varying heights. The system works on a metric grid so that that ROYALdek panels may be directly installed over the standards without the use of beam supports. Alternatively, LVL beams can support ROYALdek panels or the system can be used as a simple traditional timber and plywood formwork construction. Standard Kwikstage horizontal components such as ledgers and transoms are compatible and may be used together with ROYALformstage as the same V press sections are used for connections of wedges, thus making it even more user friendly.
