2 Introduction Using the latest developments and technologies which have been engineered over the last thirty years in the field of tensiie membrane structures, we offer Membrane-Lite. 3 Design & Engineering All structures are modular in that no matter how many are ordered for a project, they can be linked together to form a single structure. All structures have been designed in accordance with B.S 8118 (Structural Use of Aluminium), and B.S 5950 (Structural Use of Steel) with imposed loads to B.S Where structures are to be exported outside the U.K, we work to comply with the local standards as required. 4 Fabric & Membrane Supporting Structure Our structures are typically manufactured from either mild steel or high grade structural aluminium alloys. Steel structures are normally supplied in a painted to give 15 to 20 years to first maintenance. However we can also offer a hot dip galvanised option prior to painting. Aluminium structures can polyester powder coated or anodised. The structures can be painted in any colour with a RAL reference code. Stainless steel marine grade cable tensioning systems are used to compliment the structure s high quality finish. Membrane All structures are supplied with a high quality PVDF lacquered PVC Coated Polyester Membrane, with options to upgrade to a Silicone or PTFE (Teflon) Coated Glass Fibre Membrane. Al Guhrair, Dubai Typical life expectancy is 15 years for PVC and in excess 25 years for Teflon. Colours are available for both PVC and silicone membranes. All membranes are flame retardent to a minimum of B.S 7837 for PVC and Class 0 for Teflon and Silicone.

5 Structures, Applications & Installation Applications The products offered within the Membrane-Lite range of structures are ideally suited for meeting points, shading purposes, walkways, entrances, car parking shades, and covered seating areas.
