1 PROTECTIVE WRAPPING Product Information Vita-Pack protective foam wrapping offers low cost surface protection without scuffing, scratching or sticking to delicate surfaces. It is an ideal protective wrap or interleaving layer with tough tear strength properties. Due to its unique cellular structure Vita-Pack is both extremely flexible and durable providing excellent insulation and resistance to moisture penetration, protecting contents from moisture damage in humid climates as well as abrasion and impact damage in transit. The uniform surface of Vita-Pack further guarantees to protect polished surfaces from abrasions, scratching and marking often left by traditional bubble mediums as well as being a cost effective option. The product is available in roll widths of mm to mm and can also be cut into strips with a minimum strip width of 100 mm. 3 PROTECTIVE LAMINATE PACKAGING Product Information Vita-Pack protective foam packing is a composite product that combines the elastic cushioning, flexibility and scratch resistant properties of the Vita-Thene product with the tare resistant, moisture absorbent or moisture resistant properties of the Kraft, Spunbond and LDPE / HDPE substrate laminates. The humidity absorption properties of paper Kraft prevents tacking and sweating against polished surfaces, especially evident in humid conditions. The fine tissue softness of Spunbond provides added protection. It is slightly moisture absorbent (less than 2%), preventing sweating and resultant tacking in humid environments. The Knurled pocketed zones created by the HDPE adds strength, eliminates blemishes and ensures scratch free surfaces during transit. Due to its reduced surface contact area the build up of condensation is prevented, eliminating sweating and resultant tacking.
