18 Installation Instructions for Enamel Glass Installation Instructions: 1. Setting - Any setting product that is recommended for use with glass mosaics can be used for the enamel glass. 2. Sealing - The matte finish glass/enamel tile requires the use of a sealer prior to grouting so that the grout color does not get into the pores (similar to stone). This will reduce the risk of grout pigments entering the pores and changing the color of the product. The gloss finish does not require sealing prior to grouting. 3. Grouting - Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours prior to grouting. Matte finish - Take caution with the type of grout used because if the sealer gets into the joint, the grout can become discolored. We have tested and recommend Tec Power Grout. This proved to be the best grout for color consistency and clean-ability. Gloss finish - any non-sanded grout may be used. Uses: Gloss - 1. Any wall application, interior and exterior. 2. Light duty floors. 3. Can be used in submerged wet areas, mud showers, and steam showers. Matte - 1. Any wall application, interior and exterior. 2. Light Commercial Floors. 3. Can be used in submerged wet areas, mud showers, and steam showers. Light colors - 1. Light colors can be used for floor applications, however they tend to show dirt quickly. They can be easily cleaned. This is not recommended in commercial areas. Maintenance: 1. Use a neutral detergent for cleaning. 2. Rinse with clean water and dry with a clean cloth. 3. Do not use abrasive brushes. **2 x8 Wall tile for wall installation only. **All products should be inspected prior to installation. Claims for defective product will not be accepted after installation.
