3 CRUZBAY Tile Our Cruz Bay Story Cruz Bay tiles are handcrafted from beautifual natural stones and pebbles, sourced from the exotic islands of Indonesia. With over 20 years experience working in Indonesia we oversee every step of creating our products to guarantee the authenticity and quality you deserve and a final design that will look incredible for years to come. How we Create Cruz Bay Tiles Our first step is to hand pick pebbles or to cut stones to desired shapes and size them specific to each design. We then sort these pieces, only using those that meet our quality guidelines. Each Cruz Bay Tile is then individually created by hand placing stones into a predefined pattern and adhering them to a flexible mesh. The result is every tile is completely unique, easy to install and interlocks into adjoining tiles to create a seamless surface! Where to use Cruz Bay Tiles Our tiles are incredibly versatile. 4 Classic Pebble Classic Pebble tiles are made from natural Indonesian pebbles. The back of each pebble is cut to make the tile flat while the top retains the original curved pebble surface. With aesthetically pleasing shades and colors these tiles interlock to create a seamless surface. 5 Sliced Pebble Natural stone pebbles are carefully sliced on the top and the bottom to create a flat surface while maintaining the original curved outline of each individual pebble. The pebbles are then carefully laid on mesh in an interlocking pattern for an easy installation and a stunning seamless finish. 10 Installing Cruz Bay tiles Installing our tiles is easy! Just follow standard approaches to installing mosaic tiles. Cruz Bay tiles are simply taken out of the box, adhered down on the surface of a wall or floor in an interlocking pattern and then grouted. Each piece fits into the adjoining piece like a puzzle and the result is a seamless natural stone surface. Finally, a sealer can be applied to enhance and protect the finish. *Detailed guidelines can be found online at *Always make sure you only apply tile to a solid surface Tips and Recommendations Grout: We recommend using a sanded grout. Popular colors are Antique White (light stones) or Natural Grey (dark stones) Sealers: We recommend using water based, low sheen, matte finish penetrating stone sealers. Stones hue can be affected by sealers so test on a single piece first. Cutting Tiles: Stones can be cut using a standard wet saw designed for cutting tile. Cleaning and maintenance: Annual resealing is recommended and cleaning should be done with products specific to natural stone. CRUZBAY Tile
