4 Void protection solutions for temporary and permanent fixtures, VoidSafe TM can be installed to cover void openings during construction & throughout the building life. VoidSafe TM is a moulded non-slip composite Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) floor grating system, it is designed, supplied and installed by SMD alongside the metal deck operations. VoidSafe TM grid flooring is durable, lightweight and chemical/ corrosion resistant which makes it ideal for various building specifications and environments. The installation of VoidSafe TM eliminates the requirement for void handrail protection systems and temporary void protection during construction, providing a final void riser protection product which minimises floor obstructions during the process. VoidSafe TM is supplied as standard in Grey colour finish with a maximum mesh grid size of 38mm x 38mm, other colours available on request. Top of both slab and VoidSafe TM offer a flush finish IMPORTANT NOTE - VoidSafe TM should not be used as a walkway prior to concrete pour as in the temporary condition it acts as a void protection only and should not be used for regular access.
