2 6. A/V Projector, Marker Board, Podium and Projection Screen The Seminaries and Institute Department in SLC has issued a change in the size and location of the Marker Board and Projection Screen thus changing the location of the Projector. In addition, the Podium has been relocated to the Classroom Outside Wall. Please note that the following sheets are affected by this change. Sheets G1.2, A1.1, A1.2, A4.1, F1.1, F2.1, F3.1, M1.1, ME1.1, E1.1, E1.2, E1.3, FD1.1, and FP2.0 - The Plan view is shown incorrect. A 12' x 4' Marker Board should be shown centered on the front wall 7'-0" AFF. Please note that the blocking locations will change. A 6'-0" Projection Screen should be mounted above the half of the Marker Board that is adjacent to the inside wall of the room. Sheet A3.1 - The Section should show a 12' x 4' Marker Board centered on the front wall 7'-0" AFF. Please note that the blocking locations will change. A 6'-0" Projection Screen should be mounted above the half of the Marker Board that is adjacent to the inside wall of the room. Sheet A4.1 - The Projector, Projection Screen and the and required blocking are in the incorrect position. The Projector should be centered approximately 8'-9" from the front of the of the 6'-0" Projection Screen in its proper location above the Marker Board. Sheet A5.1 - The Marker Board mounting height and dimension are incorrectly shown. The 12' x 4' Marker Board should be mounted 7'-0" AFF. Note the required blocking needs to coincide with the top and bottom of the Marker Board for proper mounting. Sheet A6.3 - The Enlarged Classroom Plan is shown incorrect. A 12' x 4' Marker Board should be shown centered on the front wall 7'-0" AFF. Please note that the blocking locations will change. A 6'-0" Projection Screen should be mounted above the half of the Marker Board that is adjacent to the inside wall of the room. The Podium that is shown is in the correct location, however the note calls for the Power, A/V and Data Outlet to be in the floor. These items should be installed in the wall adjacent to and hidden by the Podium when it is installed. Elevation C shows the incorrect Marker Board size and wrong size and location of the Projection Screen. In addition, there is no Keyed Safety Switch to be installed in this location as the Folding Partition is not installed in this project. Sheet S1.1 - The 2'-2" x 2'-2" Thickened Slab for the old Podium location should be eliminated. The Podium and required switches, power and data are now located on the outside wall as shown on Sheet F3.1. Sheet E1.3 - The Projector and Projection Screen are in the incorrect position. The Projector should be centered approximately 8'-9" from the front of the of the 6'-0" Projection Screen in its proper location above the Marker Board. Also no Keyed Safety Switch.

3 7. Video Storage Cabinet The Video Storage Cabinet as shown in Storage Rm. 117 and detailed on A6.2/N,P and Q have been revised. The attached PDF shows the revised size and dimensions. 8. Brick Masonry The Plans call for two Bricks to be used on the Exterior of the Building, Storage Shed, Perimeter Fence Wall, Parking Fence and the Mechanical Enclosure. These two bricks are both single sourced from "The Lakewood Brick Company" of Denver, CO. They are 'Morning Sage, Grain Face' for the field and 'Evening Sage, Rockface' as an accent. There are no substitutions that are acceptable at this time. The Sales Rep for Lakewood noted that Marvel in Mesa was the only local supplier that they work with. Please note that the Rockface brick varies in price by the number of faces that are treated (up to three). We are aware that there will be varied sizes to this brick as the process is not exact. As this brick is recessed, the fact that treating a face and a side (as in a corner condition) will reduce the size and possibly cause unequal vertical joints, should be rather minor. At all window and door returns, the face should remain smooth. On top of the Parking Screen Wall and Mechanical Enclosure, the front face and top face should be 'Rockface'. On top of the Perimeter Fence Wall, only the front edge should be 'Rockface'. This information should be sufficient to obtain accurate pricing for the brick itself. 9. Masonry Mortar All Masonry Joints are to be Raked 3/8" deep. Exact Mortar Color (Section ) will be selected during the Mock-up process as noted in Section Quality Assurance 1.5, Parts A & B. 10. Electrical Service A 400 Amp Service Entrance Section will be installed with the actual load being +/- 300 Amps. In addition, a PDF of the LC1 Panel is attached.
