Use approximately 6 qts (5.7 l) of water for 50 lb (22.7 kg) of powder. Mix 3 qts (2.9 l) of water for each 25 lb (11.3 kg) bag. Mix by had or with a slow speed mixer to a smooth, trowelable cosistecy. If mortar tightes up, remix for 20 secods without water to exted pot life. Durig use, stir occasioally to keep mix fluffy. Do ot temper with water. Applicatio Apply mortar to the substrate with the flat side of the trowel, pressig firmly to work ito surface. Comb o additioal mortar with the otched side. Note: Use the proper sized otched trowel to esure full beddig of the tile. Spread as much mortar as ca be covered with tile i 15 miutes. Back butter large tiles >8" x 8" (200 mm x 200 mm) to provide full beddig ad firm support. Place tiles ito wet, sticky mortar ad beat i usig a beatig block ad rubber mallet to embed tile ad adjust level.
