3 Dougherty Forestry Mfg. Hinton, Oklahoma Turbo Mulcher TM-60 Patent Mow + Mulch + Site Prep Pending The Turbo Mulcher has been designed from the ground up for forestry mowing. The Spiral Saw Drum can cut grass and weeds as well as produce fine mulch when cutting trees or logs. Ground contact is no problem if site prepping is desired and the carbide cutting teeth do not have to be sharpened in the field. The cutting teeth have a minimal bite so the mulcher does not throw large debris found in other designs. Ease of Use A special RPM gauge gives the operator immediate feedback about the load on the cutting drum and does not need an electric hook-up. A single point grease system allows easy daily maintenance and a pressure valve eliminates the possibility of over greasing. The frame alone is 800lbs and is constructed of 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 steel along with heavy wall square tubing. Trees up to 5 in diameter can be pushed over and mulched without lifting the attachment out of the mowing position. Next Generation Hydraulics The TM-60 has the latest generation piston motor capable of handling up to 175 horsepower. The drum turns at 1,700rpm delivering high torque and a quick recovery time. The drive-train has no belts or pulleys and puts all available power directly to the drum. This increases power and also reduces maintenance. The Turbo Mulcher has no set up and can be operated on different skid loaders without adjustments. The TM-60 also has a case drain protection feature making it impossible to damage the motor if a hose comes off during operation. Saw Instead of Hammer The Turbo Mulcher has a patent pending spiral saw drum. Grass, brush or trees, the Turbo Mulcher can cut it all. The TS3 cutting teeth have been in the market for 15 years and will last like a carbide tooth and take shock loads like a steel tooth. Contact with the ground will not damage the cutting teeth if a below ground cut is desired. The bolt-on carbide teeth have half the replacement cost of other mulchers and they can be rotated up to 4 times.

This design uses less horsepower than hammer type mulchers and reduces heat by 63%. Hose Routing Depending on the skid loader the hoses can be routed up; or they can be pointed down to the pivot pin and though a hose loop if it is available. Safety Chains A curtain of safety chains is a standard feature. This helps to prevent debris from being directed back on the cab of the machine. A RPM gauge tells the operator exactly what the drum is doing and its located directly in the line of sight. Feller Buncher Harvest + Carry + Accumulate The Compact Feller Buncher takes timber harvesting to the next level allowing for first thinning through final harvesting at a fraction of the cost of traditional felling heads. The CFB combines the strength and proven productivity of ordinary drive-to-tree felling heads with a compact weight saving design. Turbo Saw Cut + Trim + Stump Grind The Turbo Saw is a do everything attachment. The dual axis boom that can rotate 90 degrees as well as swing right and left at the push of a button. The high rpm cutting disc can cut standing trees, can be rotated to trim limbs, chop logs, and when vertical, the multi-surface blade can be used to stump grind.
