14 Project components 1) Sharing of illegal wildlife trade information analysis results facilitates intelligence-led law enforcement approaches between Chinese government agencies at provincial, national international levels 2) Innovative approaches are developed, deployed promoted to combat wildlife crimes in China Southeast Asian countries using wildlife detector dogs 3) Capacity of enforcement officials is enhanced by participating in targeted inter-agency training events through support to interagency enforcement actions 4) Trans-boundary collaboration to combat cross-border wildlife smuggling between China Viet Nam/Laos/Myanmar is strengthened 5) Supply of dem for illegal wildlife products are reduced by conducting trainings, awareness raising social marketing campaigns

17 Capacity Building: Guangxi Forest Police CITES Enforcement Training 5% of Guangxi Forest Police (more than 120 policemen) attended this training Species identification, evidence obtaining, criminal investigating, etc. Dynamics of illegal wildlife trade in Guangxi had been presented by TRAFFIC

18 Information: Regular Physical Market Surveys Market survey in border areas of Guangxi Yunnan province (Dongxing, Pingxiang, Mohan, Daluo, Nanning, Beihai Kunming). Results had been shared with local enforcement departments for enforcement actions.
