Harvest October 4, DERCULICH LTD.

Main focus for Year 2 Improve seeding and growth volumes Discuss harvesting techniques based on cultivation method Explore product/price matrix and markets DERCULICH LTD.

Seeding Sintef guideline: Step 5: Spraying Step 6: Add Ge02 first weeks Deploy seeded material in August March Red Macro Algae Palmaria DERCULICH LTD.

Cultivation Process from seeding hatchery, attachment to growth media and deployment to needs improve The current MactoBiotech site is similar to exposed IMTA test site in Norway (Sintef) Production yield need to improve Range is from 0.8 kg/m (DK), 1-3 kg/m (FO/NO) and 10 kg/m (Exposed IMTA in NO) in vertical growth lines Harvesting methods are dependent on productive growth media Need information on seasonal variation in key value content/seaweed species Scale: Potential commercial viable production at least > tones/year ww. Question: Limitations uptake of nitrates etc. when applying intense farming activity in one area? DERCULICH LTD.

Pre-treatment FE: The current product tests are not feasible for their feed production Screw pressing is not recommended Advise from FE: 1) Mince 2) Ferment 3) Silage Scalability & cost: Seasonal harvest cost of storage Awaiting feedback from DuPont & Matis on product tests DERCULICH LTD.

Processing DTI: Discovered huge variation in content depended on season and species Need to identify value parameters (proteins, antioxidants, etc.) relevant for the market Optimize product portfolio with regard to seaweed species, content of value parameters and season Scalability: Processing needs to be close to cultivation DERCULICH LTD.
