8 Gaspardo seeding units The latest update of the direct seeding unit has been done thank to Maschio Gaspardo experience in developing conservative agricolltural tecniques. The changes have been involved the new frame and the unit made the seeding more agronomically efficent. 9 Disc hub of the coulter The disc are mounted on heavy duty bearings that guarantees high resistance in any conditions Loading of the units The seeding unit has strong arm in cast iron with an adjustable spring that can load up to 200kg of pressure per element. This allows a better penetration of the soil even in the toughest conditions The spring is easily adjustable through a simple nut Correct seeddepth. Large disc coulter The large disc Ø 475 mm and the coulter help to open the soil in order to guarantee a maximum precision when drop ing the seed ἀ = 2 Inclination The shape of the disc improve the contact between the soil and seed

11 How to set up the seeding depth in order to get the best results Investment In order to have an uniform germination of the seed the correct set up of the seeding depth is extremely important expecially in the direct seeding. The residue left on the surface allows to maintain the moisture and temperature of the ground so it creates an ideal environment to growing the crop Correct set up for each conditions The direct seeding unit done by Gaspardo it allows to adjust the seeding depth based on the type of crop and soil conditions. To do that you simply have to change the depth limiter which is interchangeable.
