3 TEACHING 2006 At my present position at the Department of Civil Engineering, Technical University of Denmark I am responsible for the Wood science and technology teaching. I am course holder and lecturer in: Material Science, Undergraduate Course Wood Science and Technology, Graduate Course Another part of my teaching responsibilities concerns supervision of graduate and under graduate students during thesis work : For all the courses taught, at the Department of Building Technology and Structural Engineering at Aalborg University, my teaching responsibilities included a substantial amount of work with course development, finding and writing course material. The courses I was responsible for and lectured in are listed below: Structural Mechanics, Beams and plates Structural Mechanics, Advanced course on elastic beam theory Structural Engineering, Design of steel structures, Introductory Course Structural Engineering, Design of steel structures, Advanced Course Structural Engineering, Design of timber structures Structural Engineering, Design of structures with prefabricated elements The pedagogic form at Aalborg University includes teaching with a problem-based and project-organized model, within groups of five to seven students. I have on average supervised and evaluated, within the field of structural engineering and mechanics, five project groups each semester. Another part of my teaching concerned supervision of master students. I supervised and evaluated annually about five master students in their master work at the school of civil engineering at Aalborg University : During my time at the Division of Structural Engineering at Lund University I have on average been involved in teaching one semester annually. My teaching included tasks such as course organizer, lecturing for larger groups of students, and also classroom teaching with smaller groups.
