The documents for the meeting will be provided in English and delivered in due time. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE DETAILS You can use trams, busses, metro, trains, and ferries to travel around in Prague. The transport is integrated you only need one ticket to use all types of transport. The tickets can be bought at kiosks. You can also buy tickets directly from the bus drivers, but they cost more, and the bus drivers typically speak very little English. The tickets need to be validated in validation terminals, located inside the trams or busses, or at the metro stations where you enter the designated transport area. More info here: You can also use a mobile app called Litacka, available at the App store (ios) and Play store (Android). If you buy the tickets through the app, the ticket is valid from the moment of the purchase. The app also offers comprehensive time tables of all public transport in Prague. More info here: 1

2 The cheapest ticket costs 24 CZK (1 ) and allows you to travel for 30 minutes. A 32 CZK ticket (1.5 ) allows you to travel for 1.5 hours. You can also buy 24-hour tickets, which cost 110 CZK (4.25 ) or 72-hour tickets, which cost 310 CZK (12 ). It s best to keep the validated tickets at your person, since you need to be able to show them to the inspectors, if they check you. More info here: The map of tram lines is available here: ACCOMMODATION As organizers, we took the liberty to select and suggest hotels in Prague, where you can accommodate yourself during the Workshop. The hotels are located conveniently near the campus of the Czech University of Life Sciences, where the workshop will be held. Each of the preselected hotels stands for a certain price range, to satisfy your needs regardless of your financial constraints. You can either use the underground station to get to the other side of Evropská street or get around the roundabout at Vitezne náměstí, (Figure 3) 2. Exit the bus at Zemědělská univerzita bus stop (Figure 4), 3. Please note that financial support is provided for one participant per eligible signatory country. Request for financial support should be submitted to Liaison Unit Bratislava ( lucia.ambrusova@foresteurope.org) as soon as possible, but no later than 15 March No application will be accepted after this deadline. CURRENCY The official currency in Slovakia is the Czech crown (1 EUR = about 26 CZK). Foreign currency can be exchanged in banks or exchange offices. Credit and debit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club) are widely accepted.
