To provide economical and environmentally friendly seasoned wood, we always aim to source timber from well managed Welsh woodlands. Seasoned Firewood - Ready to burn We process and season this firewood in our purpose-made building to ensure a high quality air-dried firewood, which is a good mix of hardwoods such as Ash, Beech and Birch. Available in bulk bags containing approximately 1 cubic metre of loose filled logs. When a bulk bag or loose fill logs are mentioned it means the logs are tipped loose into the bag or pickup, rather than being tightly stacked. The Biomass Energy Centre says a cubic metre of loose volume equals about 0.66 cubic metre stacked volume.

The logs are freshly cut and are a great mix of hardwoods including Ash, Beech and Birch. However this wood is not ready to burn and should be seasoned for at least a year outside in the open air, under cover such as a log store, so the moisture content is 25% or less (we sell moisture meters!).
