2 Company History History of the company dates back to 1983, when Mr Zbigniew Łącki started his business and established Łąccy company. Łąccy is a family company with many years of tradition in production and trade of wood industry products, both on national and foreign markets. Throughout the years of its existence, the company has been intensively developing and extending its activity in the area of offered products. The company constantly improves the quality of offered products by implementation of new technological solutions and extending its products range. Around 80% of company s production is sold on the Western European market, mainly in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and Belgium. We currently have four specialist production plants. One of them, with the registered office in Barnowo, deals with production of a two-layered oak floorboard. The main and the most important advantage of the product is the natural material used for its production. Wood is a material which never ceases to be fashionable, is timeless. Natural wood fits all design styles and determines the beauty of an interior. The basic raw material used for production of our floors is oak wood. Oak wood is appreciated for its incredible durability and recognized as one of the best for the Customers. Oak breathes and helps regulate the microclimate in an apartment. It ionizes the air and by this, creates the environment friendly to the allergic and their families. It guarantees sound-proofing, limits the presence of saprophytes, absorbs moisture and returns it when the air becomes dry. We encourage You to familiarize Yourselves with all our products range. 14 Information Wood floor is an ecological choice and commitment to respect the nature. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council ) is an independent, non-profit NGO, established in order to promote responsible forest management. The FSC certificate, which we were granted, confirms that the wood used in a particular product comes from a production process conducted in an eco-friendly, fair in terms of social, real in terms of economy and compliant with provisions of the law, way. By choosing our floors You may feel as an active part of the environment protection system and share with us the commitment to respect the nature. Oak floors produced by Łąccy are ecological products which do not contain toxic substances. 1. Floors dimensions: Our floors are produced in form of two-layered one-lamella oak boards. The top layer is the waterproof birch plywood and the second one are oak lamellas. Currently we offer two thicknesses: 2. Floors quality grades: Rustic any wood grain, natural discolouration, sound knots with a maximum diameter up to 50 mm and occasional sapwood allowed 4 mm 11 mm Thickness 15 mm, composed of 11 mm plywood and 4 mm oak layer. Optionally we offer 15 mm boards with 6 mm oak layer. 6 mm 14 mm - - Thickness 20mm, composed of 14 mm plywood and 6 mm oak layer. 15 The policy of the company Łąccy-Kołczygłowy Sp. z o.o. related to FSC controlled wood purchases for the Association of Organizations with FSC (FSC-POL ) Kołczygłowy, The signing Organization is associated with the Forest Stewardship Council A.C., Oaxaca, Mexico, or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates (hereinafter: FSC) by being either a member of having a contractual relationship with FSC, Hereby the signing Organization explicitly states that it has read and understood the Policy for the Association of Organizations with FSC as published under This policy stipulates FSC s position with regards to unacceptable activities by organizations and individuals which already are or would like to be associated with FSC as well as the mechanism for disassociation. In light of the above, the Organization explicitly agrees currently and in the future, as long as the relationship with FSC exists,not to be directly or indirectly involved in the following unacceptable activities: illegal logging or the trade in illegal wood or forest products, violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations, destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations, significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest use, introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations. In addition, the signing Organization recognizes that principles established by the International Labour Organization through the 1998 Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (the Principles ) serve to guide governments in the protection of the basic rights of workers without defining a uniform path of every nation to follow. Based upon these Principles, and consistent with applicable national law, rights, regulations, and administrative/judicial rules and procedures, the signing Organization shall respect: freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, the elimination of all forms of forces or compulsory labor, the effective abolition of child labor, and, the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
