4 INTRODUCTION The purpose of the National Invasive Species Forum is to share knowledge and information on invasive species planning and initiatives in Canada across invasive species managers from all levels of governments, organizations and others. Based on input, the key focus for this forum is prevention (pathways), early response and collaboration. The National Invasive Species Forum is hosted by the Canadian Council on Invasive Species with the much-appreciated support from Environment & Climate Change Canada and guidance from the multi-party Forum Planning Committee.
