8 Wood The raw material for Lenzing Fibers The raw material for Lenzing fibers is wood i.e. beech, spruce and eucalyptus wood Wood contains about 40% - 50% cellulose Dissolving wood pulp has specific requirements compared to paper pulp 0,3% of the entire cellulose found in the biological cycle is used for dissolving pulp The strategic objective is to provide two-thirds of required pulp from the company as own pulp production 8
