1 DSWD DROMIC Preparedness for Response Report #1 on Tropical Depression Gorio as of 25 July 2017, 7PM Situation Overview Synopsis: At 4:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "Gorio" was estimated based on all available data at 565 km East of Legazpi City, Albay (13.5 N E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 15 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of Luzon and Visayas. Forecast: Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila, the regions of Ilocos, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, Western and Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the provinces of Zambales and Bataan. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over the northern and western section of Luzon and from the southwest to west over the rest of the country. The coastal waters across the entire archipelago will be moderate to occasionally rough. Source: Status of Prepositioned Resources: Stockpiles and Standby Funds The DSWD Central Office (CO), Field Offices (FOs), and National Resource Operations Center (NROC) have a total stockpiles and standby funds amounting to 1,722,660, with breakdown as follows: a. Stockpiles A total of 488,800 Family Food Packs (FFPs) amounting to 169,423, and available Food and Non-Food Items (FNFIs) amounting to 470,726, b. Standby Funds A total of 1,082,509, standby funds in the CO and FOs. Of the said amount, 1,036,142, is the available Quick Response Fund in the CO.

6 and Warehouse Management, Emergency Telecommunications, and Disaster Information Management; 4) DSWD Rapid Emergency Telecommunications Teams (RETTs) are on standby and ready for mobilization and deployment; 5) Parent leaders of Pantawid Pamilya are ready as force multipliers on humanitarian response operations nationwide (except Batanes); and, 6) DSWD-CO (DROMIC) and Disaster Response Units (DRUs) in 18 regions are on standby for data and information management. Situational Reports DREAMB DATE 25 July 2017, 7PM ACTION(S) TAKEN The (DROMIC) of the DSWD Disaster Response Assistance and Management Bureau (DReAMB) is on 24/7 alert status and is continuously and closely monitoring weather updates and updating the status of stockpiles and standby funds. All Quick Response Teams (QRTs) are on standby.
