We also sell to customers around the world direct from the source. Imported lumber is available in select and better grades in random widths and lengths. Additionally, we offer domestic hardwood lumber from our sister yards in truckload quantities or in LTL unit bundles. Logistical flexibility is an important part of how we create value for our customers. Our ability to combine both domestic hardwoods and imported species from a single source, along with our machining services, provides added value for our customers. We procure our hardwoods from only the best overseas suppliers. With four concentration yards, we have more than two million board-feet of kiln capacity. We control the drying environment to maximize lumber quality. When our premium hardwoods are purchased green, they are air-dried under covered sheds to guarantee flat, bright lumber. Meticulous grading before and after kiln drying, double end-trimmed lumber and computerized tallies demonstrate our commitment to quality control. In addition, all of our plants have covered loading facilities to assure that you receive dry lumber, even during adverse weather conditions. Computerized kiln controls, variable-speed fans, equalizing and conditioning ensure a consistent, high-quality product. We source forest products from mills that ascribe to a variety of certification programs, including the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC ), Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI), American Tree Farmer and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). As additional credible certification programs are developed, we will continue to evaluate and expand our offering of certified forest products. Regarding imported hardwoods and veneers, we actively support and abide by the principles of the Convention in International Trade with Endangered Species (CITES) and the Lacey Act passed by the U.S. Congress, which protects against illegal logging.
