Engineering and Technology, Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth Parbhani intends to invite tender from registered manufacturers/ suppliers for equipments and furniture required for establishing pilot plant for processing of pulses and oilseeds, at College of Agril. Engineering and Technology, M.K.V., Parbhani. The details of equipment along with specifications, terms and conditions of purchase are available in the Tender form. The blank tender form will be available from to in the office of the Associate Dean and Principal, College of Agril. Engineering and Technology M.K.V., Parbhani during office hours by paying Rs. 2000/- in the form of D.D. (only Nationalized bank) drawn in favour of Comptroller, MKV, Parbhani. Tender form is also available on University website and additional Rs. 500/- will be charged for each downloaded tender form from university website The last date of submission of filled tender form is 26/03/2012 upto hrs. The tenders will be opened on at hrs., if possible in the office of Associate Dean and Principal, Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani. I am enclosing herewith the set of Tender Form as described by you. The earnest money deposit prescribed for the above mentioned quotations 1 % of the value of the Laboratory instruments / equipments and furniture quoted by the tenderer. You are requested to go through the terms and conditions of the tender before filling the tender form. The EMD as prescribed above should be submitted in the shape of TDR/CDR/FDR (Only Nationalized Banks) drawn in favour of Comptroller, MKV, Parbhani and should be enclosed with the tender form. The tender form should be submitted in two envelops A and B and both envelops should be super scribed as envelop A and B. Envelop A Containing 1. EMD for Rs in shape of call deposit TDR/CDR/FDR (Only Nationalized Banks) drawn in favor of Comptroller, MKV, Parbhani as prescribed. 2. EMD exemption will be given if the valid certificate is enclosed. 3. Copy of valid VAT Certificate.

Rates of the Laboratory instruments / equipments /furniture quoted on the tender form. 2. Undertaking in the prescribed form for supply of Laboratory instruments / equipments / furniture. 3. A photo print of the material prescribed must be enclosed with tender. Both the envelops are to be enclosed in a large envelope addressed to the Associate Dean and Principal, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Marathwada Krishi Vidaypeeth, Parbhani (MS) and submitted on or before 26/03/2012 up to HRS. 4 TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The tender should be accompanied with the EMD at the rate of 1% for the value of the item quoted by the tenderer. The EMD will have to be deposited in the form of TDR/CDR/FDR (Only Nationalized Banks) drawn in favour of Comptroller, MKV, Parbhani. If the EMD is not enclosed, the tender will be rejected. The earnest money deposited by a firm or a person whose tender is accepted will be returned after the decision is taken on the said tenders after six months of successful demonstration of equipment from the date of demonstration. The tender Earlier (published on to ) filled by tenderer will not be considered. 2. All the articles will have to be supplied FOR Parbhani at College of Agril. Engg.& Tech, MKV. 3. The Laboratory instruments / equipments / furniture should be of the, approved quality or as per the sample called for in specific case or specifications given by this office in the tender. The article which does not confirm to approved specification (S) and consequently, rejected will have to be replaced at the cost of firm or supplier. In the absence or unsatisfactory supply, the articles will be rejected and corresponding cost will be deducted from the supplier s bill. 4. The details with all specifications make of Laboratory instruments / equipments / furniture also authorized dealer certificate from company should be accompanied with tender. 5. It is within the discretions of the Chairman, Purchasing Committee to increase or decrease the quantity of purchase and/or to relax the conditions in exceptional circumstances. 6. The articles should be supplied within a period of 90 days time limit from the date of issue of the orders for supply. In case of failure the chairman shall have the right to purchase the article from the open market and to make good loss from the firm or supplier from his EMD or to impose a Rs. 50/- per item per day for the period for delay in supply. The decision of the Chairman, Purchasing Committee, MKV, Parbhani in the matter will be final. 7. It is open to accept even higher rates to reject or to recall the tender without assigning any reason Discretionary power of University Authority to reject/accept tender without scrutiny and any prior reason is with Chairman, Purchasing Committee, MKV, Parbhani. 8. The rates of each item be stated separately. The rates should be quoted in the space provided in the tender form. Each paper should be signed by the Tenderer. 9. The rates should be quoted as per tender specifications only, rates without the specifications will not be considered. 10. The tender should indicate the rates in the metric system of weights and measures there of showing conversion rate, it should be allotted in the unit shown in the tender form only. 11. The purchasing officer will not pay octroi, taxes or demurrage of the Muncipal Council. The supplier will be responsible for this payment.

The supplier should note that, the rates should be inclusive of VAT, packaging, loading and unloading, forwarding, transportation, insurance etc. in this context rate will be presumed to include all these charges. 13. Installation and demonstration of Laboratory instruments / equipments /furniture with satisfactory performance should be given before the payment is made to the supplier. Payment will be made after satisfactory report is received from the Nodal officer, ELU project /Associate Dean and Principal, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Marathwada Krishi Vidaypeeth, Parbhani (MS). The tender cover must bear the work tender for supply of Laboratory instruments / equipments /furniture (ELU) and should be addressed to Associate Dean and Principal, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Marathwada Krishi Vidaypeeth, Parbhani (MS). 14. The goods should be dispatched at suppliers risk however; the supplier will be responsible until the entire items are supplied in good condition at the destination. 15. The material should have to guarantee/warranty of one year from the date of installation/demonstration. The material should be replaced at the cost of supplier within that period and the down time will be 15 days only. 16. The tenderer must be registered under CST and MST etc. Attested copy of such certificate must be enclosed in Envelope A of the tender. 17. The prescribed tender forms will be available in the office Associate Dean and Principal, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Marathwada Krishi Vidaypeeth, Parbhani (MS) and can be purchased on payment of Rs. 2000/- in the form of DD/ Bankers Cheque (Only Nationalized Banks) payable in the name of Comptroller, MKV, Parbhani and on the website of university by paying additional Rs. 500/- for each downloaded tender form. If the firm is under partnership, in that case attested copies of partnership deed certificate and power of attorney should be attached in the Envelop A. 20. Failure to observe any of the condition mentioned above will result in cancellation of the tender. 21. The security 4 % be deposited in the form of DD(Only Nationalized Banks) have to be submit in favour Comptroller, MKV, Parbhani, a firm whose tender is accepted. The said amount will be returned after 6 months of successful demonstration with EMD. 22. The supplier should give assurance of maintenance support for further period of five year after guarantee period. In such case university will enter into AMC Contract, if required. 23. For imported equipments, the original proforma invoices from principal manufacturer should be sent within a period of fortnight. Moreover, the suppliers / tender should complete the clearance of the imported equipments.
