This shall be addressed at the SC 17 meeting. It shall further be noted that ISO/CS now request any new symbol to first be accepted by ISO/TC 145/SC 3 before publication. Furthermore for developing product-related standards that include graphic symbols the committees are encouraged to use the ISO Concept Database in order to ensure that its functionality meets their requirements and to ensure that ISO/TC 145/SC 3 can be consulted at the earliest possible stage.
