1 Pike National Forest SOUTH PLATTE RANGER DISTRICT, COLORADO April 2018 planting timeline 25,000 trees funded by Enterprise Continued support for reforestation efforts that rely on partnership dollars to sustain the restoration program 7th year working on Pike National Forest, providing more than 400,000 trees to date in Colorado Multiple wildfires over the last 15 years have created a large need for reforestation. The goal continues to be reestablishment of forest cover; improving watershed health; and promoting endangered, threatened, and sensitive plant and species habitat.

2 Atlanta Forest Management Unit NEAR MACKINAW CITY AND CHEBOYGAN, MICHIGAN Spring 2018 planting timeline 140,000 trees to help restore the Thunder Bay Watershed 8th year providing habitat for the endangered Kirtland s warbler Approximately 1.75 million trees planted by Enterprise in the state of Michigan This section of state forest land provides critical ecosystem services to the lower-peninsula such as much-needed habitat for the endangered Kirtland s warbler, breeding and browsing ground for elk, and recreation for residents and visitors alike.

3 Soutwestern France LANDES FOREST OF WESTERN EUROPE FRANCE March 2018 planting timeline 30,000 trees funded by Enterprise 2018 is the 3rd year of tree planting in France 120,000 total trees planted in France through our partnership Continuing to build off momentum of the restoration work of 2016 and 2017, Enterprise is again supporting one of the largest forests in Western Europe. The project will reinforce species diversity by planting deciduous and evergreen trees.

4 Dresden, Germany.. SACHSISCHE SCHWEIZ OSTERGEBIRGE ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT Spring 2018 planting timeline 13,000 trees funded by Enterprise 2018 is the 6th year of tree planting in Germany More than 100,000 trees planted in Germany through our partnership GERMANY The project is located in the sub-district of Possendorf near Dresden and is focused on afforestation. Your support will ensure that a wide variety of tree species are planted to provide soil protection, flood prevention, and aesthetic appeal for area residents.

5 Canada SPIRITWOOD, SASKATCHEWAN AND THE GREATER TORONTO AREA CANADA May June 2018 planting timeline 30,000 trees funded by Enterprise 2018 is the 13th year of tree planting in Canada More than 900,000 trees planted in Canada through our partnership This year s tree planting efforts in Canada will focus on two areas. In Saskatchewan, the project area will be reforested to protect and manage areas of natural diversity. Efforts in the Greater Toronto Area will focus on connecting and building upon existing forest land to ensure contiguous tree cover for wildlife and migration.

6 Northern Spain ATECA January 2018 planting timeline 4,000 trees funded by Enterprise 2017 is the 3rd year of tree planting in Spain 24,000 total trees planted in Spain through our partnership SPAIN T his is a unique opportunity to plant on private land, and a variety of species will be incorporated. The trees will improve biodiversity in the area while expanding forest cover, limiting soil degradation, and creating natural shelter for livestock.

7 United Kingdom SCOTLAND, NORTHWEST ENGLAND, NORTHERN IRELAND, AND WALES Early spring and winter 2018 planting timeline 50,000 trees funded by Enterprise 2018 is the 11th year Enterprise has planted trees in the UK More than 850,000 trees planted to date in the UK IRELAND UNITED KINGDOM In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and Woodland Trust, Enterprise is helping to create new woodlands in one of the least-forested areas of Europe. These plantings will provide tree cover on barren sites, stabilize river banks, lower river water temperatures, and improve biodiversity.

8 Chippewa National Forest BLACKDUCK, DEER RIVER, AND WALKER RANGER DISTRICTS May 2018 planting timeline 133,000 trees funded by Enterprise 3rd year planting in the state of Minnesota More than 400,000 trees planted in Minnesota to date Chippewa National Forest has faced many issues in recent history, including strong wind events, insects, and disease. The result is an acute need for reforestation. Replanting efforts will reestablish native tree species and provide essential habitat for area wildlife including the American bald eagle.

9 Econfina Creek Water Management Area BAY AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES, FLORIDA January February 2018 planting timeline 250,000 trees funded by Enterprise 7th year planting in the state of Florida More than 1.5 million trees planted in the state of Florida since 2012 Working alongside the Northwest Florida Water Management District, we are planting longleaf pine to protect critical water resources. The goal is to restore and preserve the primary source of drinking water for Bay County, Florida.

10 Tahoe National Forest SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA April 2018 planting timeline 70,000 trees funded by Enterprise 12th year working on a California restoration project More than 2.3 million trees planted in the state of California through our partnership In the wake of the catastrophic American Fire that raged through the forest in 2013, Tahoe National Forest is on a long road to recovery. This replanting project will help to restore the landscape, protect area watersheds, and reestablish lost wildlife habitat.

11 Willamette River Basin UPPER AND MIDDLE WILLAMETTE WATERSHED, OREGON February 2018 planting timeline 40,000 trees funded by Enterprise 2018 will be the 7th year Enterprise has planted trees in the state of Oregon More than 820,000 trees planted in the state of Oregon to date The iconic Willamette River is 187 miles in length, drains a 11,478-square-mile area (12% of Oregon s landscape), and serves as a major tributary of the Columbia River. Tree planting efforts here will protect the watershed area of a basin that is home to two-thirds of Oregon s population and generates 75% of its economic output.

12 Custer Gallatin National Forest ASHLAND RANGER DISTRICT, MONTANA April May 2018 planting timeline 100,000 trees to help restore areas burned by the 2012 Ash Creek Fire Complex. 8th year assisting with wildfire restoration in Montana Reestablishing critical forest habitat for wildlife Large wildfires have plagued this forest since 2000, and much of the forest cover is struggling to regenerate on its own. This year s tree planting efforts will speed up the recovery of the forest habitat for area wildlife such as elk, deer, and goshawks.

13 Republic of Ireland MULTIPLE WOODLAND SITES Saturday, February 10, 2018 planting date 2nd year Enterprise has planted trees in Ireland 50,000 trees funded by Enterprise IRELAND UNITED KINGDOM Working with the group Trees on the Land, Enterprise will help establish tree cover and woodland in both rural and urban areas. These newly planted forests will grow and provide valuable resources, ecosystem services, and a lasting legacy for future generations.

14 Klamath National Forest NORTHERN CALIFORNIA February-March 2018 planting timeline 30,000 trees funded by Enterprise 12th year working on a California restoration project More than 2.3 million trees planted in the state of California through our partnership Five years of wildfires have crisscrossed this forest, leaving behind a charred landscape struggling to recover. Replanting is critical to provide slope stability and restore habitat for the northern spotted owl and the endangered coho salmon.

15 Sandhills Game Lands FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA December 2017 January 2018 planting timeline 35,000 trees to help restore the area s threatened longleaf pine ecosystem 1st year planting in North Carolina Long-term goal of providing habitat for the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker The longleaf pine ecosystem is one of the most threatened ecosystems in the country. This planting project will help to bolster the longleaf pine presence in North Carolina and create habitat for the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker as well as cover and browse needed by other area wildlife.
