5 Page 5 of 6 and sanitary sewer facilities, and storm water management improvements Gainesville Magisterial District - Christopher Martino - Finance Department [Wb, Cn-Unan] RES APPROVED: DEFERRED FROM JUNE 1, 1999 Public Hearing is Closed - To consider adoption of an ordinance or resolution, pursuant to Section , VA Code Ann., authorizing the acquisition by the Prince William County Park Authority and/or the Board of County Supervisors of approximately 120 acres of land located at 4805 Sudley Road in the Gainesville Magisterial District to be used for public park and recreation purposes and other public purposes. The property is a part of GPIN and is designated as Agricultural or Estate (AE) in the 1998 Comprehensive Plan Peggy Delinocci - Park Authority [Wb, Hl-Unan] 15. Adjourn Meeting 8:51 p.m. DIRECTIVES DIR Wb Maintenance of Landscaped Corridors Supervisor Wilbourn requested that staff prepare a proposal, through the budget process, to provide for maintenance of landscaped corridors throughout the County. DIR Cn Overnight Parking of Trash Trucks Supervisor Caddigan requested that staff review Fairfax County action to ban overnight parking of trash trucks on secondary streets and to consider the need to take similar appropriate action. DIR G Transfer of Open Land to Rollingwood Village Supervisor Griggs requested that staff investigate transferring open land associated with the former Horner Road extended rightof-way to Rollingwood Village. DIR G/Se Prince William Watershed Supervisor Griggs and Chairman Seefeldt requested that staff review information received from the Friends of Prince William Watershed and to consider County participation and how the results from this organization can be incorporated in next year s strategic planning process. Staff is requested to report to the Board in September with potential areas that the County can participate in and what support could be awarded. DIR Se Year 2000 Conversion Chairman Seefeldt asked that the County Executive designate a staff person to participate in a meeting on Year 2000 conversion. DIR Se Water Conservation Chairman Seefeldt requested that the Board be presented with a
