2 The German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) is to host an International Workshop on The Internet & New Social Media in Democracy Promotion on 8th to 9th April 2013 in Bonn, Germany The workshop intends to offer a platform for exchange between policy makers, researchers and practitioners engaged in the fields of new digital media and democracy promotion. The event will bring together about 100 participants from civil society, government, development co-operation organizations, academia and IT development. Please find below the tentative program, and more information about the different panels. Participation is free of charge and on personal invitation only.
