2 Page 2 1. OPENING OF THE MEETING At 5 p.m., President Claude Charron declared the meeting open. 2. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA RESOLUTION B.C. BO Adoption of the agenda THAT the agenda of meeting No. 02 held on February 27, 2018 be adopted RESOLUTION B.C. BO Reading and adoption of the minutes of meeting No. 01 held on January 23, 2018 THAT the Secretary not be required to read the minutes of meeting No. 01 held on January 23, THAT the minutes of meeting No. 01 held on January 23, 2018, be adopted PLANNING ADVISOR COMMITTEE 4. BO Application for a minor derogation to the Ville de Sherbrooke s Zoning and Subdivision Bylaw No. 1200, zone H1518, 115 Lorne St. (Valérie Gosselin) Whereas the building is currently located 3.43 m from Lorne Street s right-of-way, versus the prescribed minimum setback margin of 6.00 m; Whereas the building has been on this site since 1945; Whereas the existing front porch is relatively small; In accordance with a recommendation from the planning advisory committee, THAT the derogation for Lot of the cadastre of Quebec, located at 115 Lorne Street, in residential zone H1518 of the Ville de Sherbrooke s Zoning and Subdivision By-law No be accepted, thereby authorizing an encroachment of 2.57 m to the minimum prescribed front setback of 6.00 m in effect, to therefore legalize the location of the main building which is located 3.43 m from Lorne Street s right-of-way; THAT the derogation for Lot of the cadastre of Quebec, located at 115 Lorne Street, in residential zone H1518 of the Ville de Sherbrooke s Zoning and Subdivision By-law No be accepted, thereby authorizing the presence of a porch encroaching more than one-third of the front setback margin, at a maximum distance of 1.55 m from Lorne Street s right-of-way, to permit an extension to the existing porch along the front of the building. BO Application for a minor derogation to the Ville de Sherbrooke s Zoning and Subdivision Bylaw No. 1200, zone H1520, 56 Speid Street (Jonathan Cousineau) Given the difference between the house s alignment and the angle of the land vis-à-vis Speid Street; In accordance with a recommendation from the planning advisory committee, THAT the derogation for Lot of the cadastre of Quebec, located at 56 Speid Street, in residential zone H1520 of the Ville de Sherbrooke s Zoning and Subdivision By-law No be accepted, thereby authorizing an encroachment of 1.04 m to the minimum prescribed western lateral setback of 2.00 m in effect, to therefore legalize the location of the main building which is located 0.96 m from the western property boundary; THAT the derogation for Lot of the cadastre of Quebec, located at 56 Lorne Street, in residential zone H1520 of the Ville de Sherbrooke s Zoning and Subdivision By-law No be accepted, thereby authorizing an encroachment of 2.67 m to the minimum prescribed front setback of 6.00 m in effect, to therefore legalize the location of the main building which is located 3.33 m from Lorne Street s right-of-way; Manager responsible: Michael Howard 7. DOSSIERS 7.1. OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS RESOLUTION B.C. BO Tabling of the 2018 Outstanding Achievements Awards program THAT the 2018 Outstanding Achievement Awards program be tabled.

BO Appointment to the Ville de Sherbrooke's public safety committee To recommend that Marie-France Beauregard be named to the public safety committee as a volunteer citizen member. Manager responsible: Caroline Gravel 8. COMMUNITY RELATIONS DOSSIERS 8.1. CULTURE RESOLUTION B.C. BO Operational funding agreement with the Lennoxville-Ascot Historical & Museum Society THAT the Borough President and the Head of the Cultural Division be authorized to sign, for and on behalf of the Borough No. 3, an agreement with the Lennoxville-Ascot Historical & Museum Society as per the terms and conditions of the agreement kept in Dossier B.C. BO of the municipal archives. THAT financial assistance in the amount of $ be allocated to implement this agreement. THAT the treasurer be authorized to issue cheques accordingly. BO Bibliothèque de Lennoxville Library Agreement for 2018 THAT the Borough President and the Head of the Cultural Division be authorized to sign, for and on behalf of Borough No. 3, an agreement with the Bibliothèque de Lennoxville Library as per the terms and conditions of the agreement kept in Dossier B.C.
