1 August 23, 2018 To: All Participants Re: Tender No.097/ for Pre-Qualification to Participate in Tenders for the Green Line and Purple Line Addendum No. 1 Addendum no. 1 is issued for inclusion into the tender documents. Pursuant to the issued on July 12, 2018, and in accordance with the provisions thereof, the attention of all Participants is drawn to the following clarifications and answers to questions regarding the. 2 ADDENDUM NO. 1 AMENDMENTS, CLARIFICATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS TO THE INVITATION 1. Q: The Tender Committee was requested, by several Participants, to send such the Pre-Qualification Documents. A: The Tender Committee clarifies that the Pre-Qualification Documents are available for online review and download at the following websites: and under the tab PQ DOCUMENTS. 2. Q: The Tender Committee was requested to clarify the expected procurement process with respect to communication and signaling systems. A: The Tender Committee clarifies that further information with respect to the execution of the Project will be specified under the Tender Documents. 3. Q: The Tender Committee was requested to provide the Participants with the feasibility study for the Projects. A: The Tender Committee clarifies that the feasibility study with respect to the Projects is not required during the Pre-Qualification Process, and that applicable relevant information will be specified under the Tender Documents. 4. Q: The Tender Committee was requested to clarify the process through which Infra 1 Works will be carried out and financed. Tender No.097/ PQ Addendum no. 1 Page 2 of 5

3 A: Without derogating from the rights and prerogatives of the Tender Committee pursuant to the Pre-Qualification Documents, the Tender Committee clarifies that the Infra 1 Works are not expected to be included in the scope of work of the Tender Documents which will be published following the Pre-Qualification Process. Infra I Works are expected to be carried out by various contractors to be selected by NTA pursuant to other competitive processes. Further information with respect to the Infra 1 Works and the interfaces between such works and the scope of work of the Successful Bidder will be specified under the Tender Documents. 5. Q: The Tender Committee was requested to provide information with respect to the estimated value of the scope of work of the Successful Bidder and of the overall Project. A: The Tender Committee rejects the request. 6. The attention of the Participants is drawn to the provisions of s 2.9 (Requests for Clarification of this ) and 2.10 (Addenda) with respect to all communication between the Tender Committee and the Participants. Participants are required to acknowledge receipt of notice of Addenda in writing no later than two (2) days following receipt thereof by a returned to the Tender Committee. The foregoing does not derogate from the obligation of all Participants, pursuant to the, to check the Website on a regular basis, for any Addenda, updates, postponements, changes, clarifications or modifications, and shall not be construed as creating any obligation on the part of NTA or the Tender Committee to inform any Participant of any Addenda published at the Website. 5 8. Q: The Tender Committee was requested to clarify whether two sister companies may participate in separate submissions. A: Without derogation from the provisions of the, the Tender Committee draws the attention of the Participants to the provisions of 3.8 which specify, inter alia, that incorporated Entities which are under common Control may not participate in more than one Pre- Qualification Submission. 9. Q: The Tender Committee was requested to clarify which entity is conducting the feasibility study and which entity will conduct the preliminary design. 3.8 (Participation in a Pre-Qualification Submission) Annex 1 ( Description of the Projects) A: The Tender Committee clarifies that the feasibility study mentioned in Annex 1 ( Description of the Projects) refers to the metro lines and not to the Projects.
