10 Types of Government There are three major types of government: democracy, oligarchy, and autocracy A democracy can be either direct or indirect An oligarchy is when a small group is in charge

11 Types of Government Autocracy is a government with one leader who has absolute power An autocracy can be an absolute monarchy, a constitutional monarchy, or a dictator (totalitarianism) Another type of autocracy is a theocracy, which is an autocracy with a religious leader

According to a recent Pew Study, 61% of Americans favored legalization of marijuana, but it remains classified as a Schedule 1 Drug in the United States Country Number 2: Refers to many autocratic countries, particularly Germany during World War II or North Korea today Country Number 3: Refers to England during the reign of Henry VIII, when Henry created the Church of England because the Catholic Church would not grant him a divorce Country Number 4: Refers to Ancient Egypt. Early Pharaohs were buried with their actual servants who had either been knocked out or killed by a blow to the head. Later pharaohs were buried with models of their servants
