Consider approval of Minutes of the Regular Called City Council Meeting of the City of Tyler, Texas on January 25, ZONING Z-1 A WHITEHOUSE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT (83.11 ACRE TRACT OF LAND) Request that the City Council consider adopting an ordinance providing for the voluntary annexation of an acre tract of land lying adjacent to the present boundary limits of the City of Tyler located west of the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 2964 (Rhones Quarter Road) and County Road 2191 (Oscar Burkett Road). Also consider recommending: A. The new boundary of the City Limits. B. The new boundary of the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction. C. The new boundary of the City Council District #5. D. Amendment of the Future Land Use Guide to reflect Institutional. E. Original zoning of acres of INT, Institutional District. Z-2 Z PAUL L. 4 RESOLUTION R-1 Request that the City Council consider approving a resolution supporting Tyler Senior Village development to be located at Shiloh Road and Sweetbriar Lane in Tyler. ORDINANCE O-1 Request that the City Council consider adopting an Ordinance amending Tyler City Code Chapters 1, 2, 3, 6 and 15 to streamline procedures, to increase efficiency, to improve response time to citizens and to make provisions more consistent with current practice, by authorizing the City Manager to designate miscellaneous duties and responsibilities and by updating certain appeals processes. MISCELLANEOUS M-1 Request that the City Council consider authorizing the City Manager to eliminate the Pilot Holiday Trash service and consider reimplementation of original Residential Solid Waste trash pick-up service during holiday weeks effective the week of July 4, M-2 Request that City Council consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract for the Ashmore Drainage Channel Improvements Project to Solid Bridge Construction, LLC in an amount not to exceed $1,737, M-3 Request that the City Council consider making an appointment of a temporary municipal court judge. M-4 Request that the City Council consider reviewing and accepting the Revenue and Expenditure Report for the quarter ending December 31, CONSENT (These items are considered to be routine or have been previously discussed, and can be approved in one motion, unless a Council Member asks for separate consideration of an item). C-A-1 C-A-2 C-A-3 Request that the City Council consider authorizing the City Manager to award the service contract for the 2017 Citywide HVAC Maintenance Services to Aire-Serv of Smith County in the amount of $26, Request that the City Council consider awarding Bid No for Grounds Maintenance Services to the low bidder Clear Choice Lawn Care of Tyler, Texas, in the amount of $33,048 and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents. Request that the City Council consider authorizing the City Manager to purchase various vehicles and equipment from Buy Board bids.

Request that the City Council consider authorizing the City Manager to execute an Airport Restaurant Concession Lease renewal in the North Side Terminal Building at Tyler Pounds Regional Airport with The Skyline Café (Rebecca Kalmowitz, Owner) for an additional two years. Request that the City Council consider awarding Bid No for a new Airport and Parks Grounds Maintenance Agreement to Clear Choice Lawn Care and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract totaling $179, annually, for a term of two (2) years. Request that the City Council consider authorizing the City Manager to execute Work Order No. 8, in the amount of $67,400, and to ratify staff actions regarding Work Orders No. 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 with Ballard & Braughton Engineering for the Grande Lift Station and Sewer Line project. Request that the City Council consider awarding Bid No for Construction of Faulkner Park Lake Trail Improvements to Coast to Coast Construction in the amount of $116, Request that the City Council consider reviewing and accepting the Investment Report for the quarter ending December 31, CITY MANAGER S REPORT RECESS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION Executive Item No. 1: Under Texas Government Code Section Litigation deliberation regarding the following: 1. Pending or contemplated litigation involving Owens v. Chatelain and City of Tyler; Any final action to be taken by the City Council will be taken in open session. ADJOURNMENT
