CALL THE COUNCIL MEETING TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:46 p.m. This meeting is open to the public and all representations to Council form part of the public record. This meeting is being webcast live and will be archived on the City s website. 2. INTRODUCTION OF LATE ITEMS: 2.1 Freedom of Information Request Regarding the Speculation Tax Imposed on West Kelowna (see Item under Division Reports) 2.2 Letter from Clayton Pecknold, Assistant Deputy Minister and Director of Police Services, Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, dated May 18, 2018, re 2018 G7 Leaders Summit RCMP Resource Redeployment (see Item 10.1 under Correspondence and Information Items)

ADOPTION OF MINUTES: 4.1 Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held May 8, 2018 at the City of West Kelowna Council Chambers THAT the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held May 22, 2018 at the City of West Kelowna Council Chambers be adopted. C248/18 5. MAYOR AND COUNCILLOR S REPORTS: 5.1 Mayor Findlater 1 Regional District of Central Okanagan Highlights from the May 10, 2018 Regional Board Meeting 6. PRESENTATIONS: 6.1 Roy Morgan, Crime Prevention Coordinator, Regional District of Central Okanagan Mr. Morgan provided Council with an update on the Crime Prevention Program in West Kelowna. 6.2 Sabrina Locicero, Stakeholder Engagement, and Sue Foster, Project Manager, BC Hydro Ms. Locicero and Ms. Foster provided Council with an update on the BC Hydro West Kelowna Transmission Project. DIVISION REPORTS: 9.1 CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER Priorities; First Quarter Update Information Report from the CAO Freedom of Information request regarding the Speculation Tax imposed on West Kelowna THAT Council direct staff to request from the Province all information they used to determine that West Kelowna should be included in the Speculation Tax; and, THAT information be obtained using the Freedom of Information Act; and, THAT the Mayor be authorized to write an open letter to the Premier of British Columbia regarding the reasons the City of West Kelowna should be excluded from the Speculation Tax. C249/ DEVELOPMENT SERVICES Bylaws for Consideration of Adoption Z 17-19, Zoning Amendment Bylaw No , 2301 and 2311 Carrington Road THAT Council adopt the City of West Kelowna Zoning Amendment Bylaw No , 2018 (File: Z 17-19). 4 Planning Comprehensive Sign Bylaw Review Sign Bylaw No THAT Council give first, second and third readings to City of West Kelowna Sign Bylaw No. 0250, 2018; and THAT Council give first, second and third readings to City of West Kelowna Bylaw Notice Enforcement Bylaw No , 2018; and C251/18 THAT Council give first, second and third readings to City of West Kelowna Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw No , Economic Development and Tourism Operational Plan THAT Council approve the 2018 Economic Development and Tourism Operational Plan. C252/ ENGINEERING AND PUBLIC WORKS Soccer Dome Project Update Information Report from the Recreation and Culture Manager 9.4 FINANCE, ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROTECTIVE SERVICES Good Neighbour Bylaw No. 0151, and Associated Ticketing Bylaws THAT City of West Kelowna Good Neighbour Bylaw No. 0151, 2018 be adopted; and THAT Bylaw Notice Enforcement Amendment Bylaw No , 2018 be adopted; and THAT City of West Kelowna Ticket Information Utilization Amendment Bylaw No , 2018 be adopted.
