Agenda reports for items on this agenda are available for public review at the City Clerk's Office, 8130 Allison Avenue, and at the La Mesa library reference desk, 8074 Allison Avenue, during normal business hours. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA MESA APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF THE PUBLIC AGENCIES POST-EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS TRUST ADMINISTERED BY PUBLIC AGENCY RETIREMENT SERVICES (PARS) Staff recommends the Council adopt a resolution establishing an IRS Section 115 Trust with the PARS Post-Employment Benefits Trust Program to be used to prefund pension obligations to be administered by PARS and U.S. Bank; appoint the City Manager as the Plan Administrator; authorize the City Manager to execute the documents to implement the program; and direct staff to advance funds previously reserved as additional contributions to the newly established trust fund.
