1 DIVISION OF PLANT PATHOLOGY ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi Walk-in-Interview Walk-in-Interview will be held in the Division of Plant Pathology for recruitment of the positions of One Senior Research Fellow and One Technical Assistant purely on contractual basis under the DAC&FW, ICAR & SAUs Collaborative Project on 05 th March, 2019 at AM. Singh Terms and Conditions Name of the Position Senior Research Fellow Young Professional 1 No. of Position Emolument (per month) One Rs /- per month + HRA as admissible One Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated) Essential Qualification and Desirable Experience Essential Master s degree in Plant Pathology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences from a recognized university / institution. Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 4/5 years of Bachelor's degree (preferably B.Sc. Agriculture) Or, Candidates having 3 years of Bachelor's degree in basic science and 2 years Master's degree should have NET Qualification. Desirable Hands on experience in Plant Pathological, Molecular and Biotechnological tools and techniques. Work experience of 1-2 years Essential B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc. in Botany / Biology / Biotechnology or relevant basic sciences. Desirable Working research experience in the field of Agricultural research related works in field crops and working knowledge on Computer, Laboratory & Glasshouse work 1. For the details of qualifications and other requirements, please refer to ICAR Office Memorandum (F.No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13/07/2015 & F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 09/10/2015). The emolument of the above positions will be as per ICAR rule (F.No. 17(1)/2013-Estt. IV, dated 12/08/2013). 2. Age Limit for the positions is 35 years max. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines. Minimum age should be of 18 years as on date of interview.

2 3. The eligible candidates should report for the interview 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for necessary formalities. Candidates appearing for interview should bring two copies of their biodata in prescribed application format given below (Annexure-I&II), two passport size photographs and one set of attested photocopies of their certificates/ marksheets/ experience proof etc. Applicants must bring with them original documents at the time of interview for verification. 4. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. 5. No objection certificate from the employer, in case he/ she has an employment. 6. Candidates whose near/ distant relative(s) is an employee of the ICAR/ IARI, has to declare it and communicate this office as per format given below.
