Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council held March 17, 2009 and the Regular Meeting of Council held March 10, 2009 RES #96/09 That the Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council held March 17, 2009 and the Regular Meeting of Council held March 10, 2009 be adopted as circulated.

Zoning Amendment Bylaw No StanCom Developments Ltd & 555 Wotzke Drive - Proposed Manufactured Home Park and Single Family Residential Lot RES #97/09 Seconded by Councillor Zacharias That Zoning Amendment Bylaw No be read a third time and reconsideration and adoption be held in abeyance pending approval from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and receipt of a proposed subdivision and layout plan for the subject property. C2a) Public Notice of Failure to File Campaign Financial Disclosure Statement RES #98/09 Seconded by Councillor Barr That Council receive the report of public notice of failure by candidate Chuck Pearson to file a campaign financial disclosure statement for the 2008 Election within the time period under Section 90 (1) of the Local Government Act. C4a) Parcel Tax Roll Review RES #99/09 Moved by Councillor Barr That pursuant to the report of the General Manager of Financial Services dated March 16, 2009, Staff be directed to publish in a local newspaper notice of availability of the parcel tax rolls for inspection and the requirements and time frame for lodging complaints/ challenging the rolls, and tentative dates for the Parcel Tax Roll Reviews to be held in Council Chambers, if required, are scheduled as follows: Water and Sewer --- Wednesday, April 15, 10:00 am Water and Sewer-South Lakeside --- Wednesday, April 15, 10:15 am Downtown Parking and Beautification --- Thursday, April 16, 10:00 am

3 C5a) Airport Aviation Fuel - Award of Tender RES #100/09 That pursuant to the report of the Purchasing Agent dated March 16, 2009, Council award a three-year contract for the supply of Aviation Fuel to Executive Flight Centre for the tendered price of $427,795, based on last year s consumption of 150,000 litres of Av Gas 100LL and 400,000 litres of Jet A Fuel. D1. Highway Naming Bylaw No "Marwick Landing" RES #101/09 Seconded by Councillor Bourdon That Highway Naming Bylaw No. 2088, 2009 be reconsidered and adopted. D2. Highway Naming Bylaw No "Rick Hansen Way" and "Stevenson Drive" RES #102/09 That Highway Naming Bylaw No. 2094, 2009 be reconsidered and adopted.

Canadian High School Rodeo Finals Parade RES #103/09 Seconded by Councillor Walters That pursuant to the request from the Canadian High School Rodeo Finals Social Committee Chair in her letter dated February 22, 2009, permission be given for the Canadian High School Rodeo Finals Parade on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 9:30 AM along the route as outlined, subject to providing proof of insurance in the amount of $3,000,000 with the City named as co-insured, this event be coordinated with City Staff and Emergency Services be so advised. F2. Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon - Big Bike Day - June 2 & 3, 2009 RES #104/09 Moved by Councillor Montoya That pursuant to the request from the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & the Yukon in their letter dated February 17, 2009, permission be given for the Big Bike for Heart & Stroke Ride on June 2nd & 3rd, 2009, along the route as outlined, June 2nd & 3rd, 2009 be designated as "Big Bike" Days in the City of Williams Lake, and emergency services be so advised; and further, Mayor and Council challenge the Cariboo Regional District Directors to form a mini-team to ride the Big Bike together with the Council team and City Staff also be encouraged to participate. F3. Measuring Up The North - Year Two Commitment Agreement RES #105/09 That pursuant to the request from Mayor Mary Sjostrom, Measuring Up The North Steering Committee Chair, in her letter dated February 2, 2009, Council endorse the Year Two Commitment Agreement with the Measuring Up The North Initiative as outlined.

In-Camera Report # re Appointments to City Advisory Committees RES #106/09 Moved by Councillor Barr That In-Camera Report # regarding appointments to City Advisory Committees be received for information.
