1 COMPANY RENEWAL This guide walks users thrugh the prcesses relevant t requesting a renewal fr a cmpany including: Requesting a Renewal Recalling a D Nt Renew Request Managing the Renewal Prcess Cmpany Accunt Administratrs have autmatic access t the Renewals tab and all renewal rles. Accunt Administratrs need t assign cmpany users with additinal rles t have access t the Renewals tab if necessary. See the Cmpany Renewal Rles Quick Guide fr mre infrmatin. The cmpany can submit renewal requests fr all cmpany, branch, and spnsred individual licenses in NMLS. The individual must attest t the accuracy f their recrd befre the cmpany may submit a renewal request n their behalf. If an individual license requires a Criminal Backgrund Check (CBC) and/r Credit Reprt authrizatin fr renewal, payment is required at the time f submissin. 2 3. Click the Submit Cmpany/Branch buttn (see Figure 1). NOTE: A branch license cannt be submitted fr renewal unless a cmpany license in the same jurisdictin has been submitted r is being requested in the current renewals cart. 3 4. The Renewal Selectin List displays (see Figure 2). Figure 2: Renewal Selectin List 5. Select the checkbx beside each license yu want t renew. If yu want t request renewal fr all licenses listed n the page, click the Renew icn t select all. If yu want t indicate t the regulatr that yu are nt ging t renew a license, click the D Nt Renew icn. NOTE: If yur cmpany has a list f licenses lng enugh t span several pages, the select all feature nly applies t ne page at a time. Click the Apply Selectins buttn n the bttm f the page befre prceeding t the next page. 6. Click the Apply Selectins buttn. 7. Click the Prceed t Cart buttn, click the Pay fr Renewal link n the left navigatin panel, r click the Renewals Cart link t pay fr the licenses selected fr renewal. 4 8. Review the items in the Renewals Cart and click the Prceed t Invice buttn fr a cmplete breakdwn f fees (see Figure 3). 9. Click the Pay Invice buttn. Recalling a D Nt Renew Request If yu indicated that yu d nt wish t renew a license and then reverse this decisin, the steps belw describe the prcess f recalling a D Nt Renew request. 1. 5 3. Click the Apply Selectins buttn. The license is returned t the Renewal Selectin List (see Figure 4). Managing the Renewal Prcess Figure 4: Recall List Within the Renewals tab, use the real-time Renewal Activity reprts t get infrmatin abut yur cmpany/branch licenses, as well as any spnsred MLOs within yur cmpany. Renewal Activity Cmpany/Branch Click the Excel icn next t the Renewal Activity-Cmpany/Branch reprt t display a list f all cmpany and branch licenses. Clumns t fcus n: License Status (clumn H) Fcus n license statuses such as Apprved-Deficient and Apprved-Cnditinal that may require fllw-up with yur state regulatr. Prevent Renewal Regulatr (clumn J) The presence f a Y in this clumn will prevent yu frm requesting renewal fr this license. Has Active Financial Statement License Item (clumn K) The presence f a Y in this clumn will prevent yu frm requesting renewal fr this license. Has Active Mrtgage Call Reprt License Item (clumn L) The presence f a Y in this clumn may prevent yu frm requesting renewal fr this license. 6 Renewed Thrugh Year (clumn M) Directly related t the Renewal Status clumn, verify that the renewed thrugh year is accurate Renewal Status (clumn N) Mnitr the status f yur renewal request, the gal being Renewal Apprved Renewal Activity Spnsred Individuals Click n the Excel icn next t the Renewal Activity-Spnsred Individuals reprt t display a list f all spnsred individual licenses. All the clumns cntain imprtant infrmatin. Clumns t fcus n: License Status (clumn I) Fcus n license statuses that may require fllw-up with yur state regulatr, such as Apprved-Deficient and Apprved-Cnditinal. Prevent Renewal Regulatr (clumn K) The presence f a Y in this clumn will prevent yu frm requesting renewal fr this license. Renewed Thrugh Year (clumn L) Directly related t the Renewal Status clumn, verify that the Renewed Thrugh Year reflects the apprpriate year. Renewal Status (clumn M) Mnitr the status f an individual renewal request until it reads Renewal Apprved. Attested Date (clumn R) Until this clumn cntains a date, cmpanies cannt submit the license fr renewal. Individuals must fllw the Attest fr Cmpany wrkflw t ppulate the Attested Date clumn.
