GAP will monitor and incorporate outcomes from the Policy Units, National and Regional Meetings and other UN declarations. The GAP Executive Committee (or a nominated drafting group) will draft the GAP Outcome Document through regular review of new inputs and will present it to the GAP partners in a series of iterations. 15 9. What is the value of GAP to HABITAT III? For stakeholders (especially those who have traditionally not had a voice in intergovernmental processes) An opportunity to put their views forward in a structured manner, which increases their chances of being heard by member states. For member states (both, those who are committed to a participatory process, as well as those who are skeptical) an opportunity to receive inputs in a streamlined fashion, collective rather than individual positions, without being swamped by thousands of ad-hoc suggestions.
