2 IDBI Bank Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Bank ) Invites EOI from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or their authorized Premium Business Partners for empanelment for a period of 2 years from 1 st February, st January, 2018 for supply of Servers and Storage boxes. The eligibility criteria for the assignment are given below Eligibility Criteria 1. The bidder can be an OEM or an OEM s Tier I (Premium/ Gold etc) Business partner. In case of business partner (BP), an authority letter from their respective OEM, authorizing them to submit their EOI to the Bank, must be submitted. Any EOI from a business partner, without the authorization letter from their OEM, would be disqualified. The authorization letter from the OEM should indicate the category and assure to provide support / cover during the entire empanelment. 2. A bidder can bid for a maximum of two OEMs for Servers and two OEMs for Storages. (An OEM, can bid through a maximum of three business partners only). 3. The bidder must be a registered partnership firm or a limited company having its registered office in India. ( Copies of the registration / incorporation certificate should be submitted) 4. The Bidder should be operating in India, in this line of business since April (copy of commencement of business, Sales tax, Service tax, VAT registration to be submitted) 5. The annual turnover of the bidder should be at least Rs.75 crores in each of the last three financial years i.e , and (Audited Financial statements of the bidding entity to be submitted). 6. The bidders should have positive Net worth in each of the previous 3 financial years. i.e , and (Audited Financial statements of the bidding entity to be submitted). 3 7. The OEM s plant should have a valid ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications. (Copy of the current and valid certificate to be submitted). 8. The bidder should have valid ISO 9001:2008 certification. (Copy of the current and valid certificate to be submitted) 9. The bidder should have successfully executed at least 3 contracts in the last 2 financial years ( ) for each OEM they are bidding for; at least one contract should be during the last financial year ( i.e. P.O. issued during ), each contract should be of a value not less than Rs.50 lakhs ;each contract should be for having supplied, installed and commissioned servers / storages; at least one client / one contract should be from the BFSI / PSU sector. ( Copy of the contracts to be submitted. A letter from the clients concerned is to be submitted to the effect that the bidder s supply and delivery services were to their satisfaction.) 10. The bidder should be able to supply both Server and Storage requirements of the bank. This will include all types of Servers (eg. 2U, 4U, AMD, Intel etc.) and Storages (eg. FC, iscsi, NAS etc.). The OEM and BP should not have been blacklisted by any Govt. bodies / BFSI / PSU during the last three years {Bidder Declaration as per format given in Annexure III;OEM declaration as per annexure IV ) General Conditions 1. OEMs would be fully responsible for any shortfall in the transaction routed through the business partner. 2. The empanelled list of vendors will be valid for a period of 2 years starting from February 1, 2016 to January 31, A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be sent by the Bank to each of the empanelled vendors when there is need for procurement of Servers and/or Storages in the Bank. Each of such RFQs would be governed by a separate contract. 4. The RFQs would be sent only to the empanelled vendor seeking their indicative commercial bids for the Servers/Storages intended to be procured. The commercial bidding/evaluation in response to the RFQs will be through an Online Reverse Auction conducted by a Bank appointed Auction Agent. 5. The Bidder should provide direct support from the OEM for the equipments supplied by them. The Bank should be able to log the support call with the OEM directly during the contract period. 6. Bidder should provide details of each of the OEM they represent in the format given in Annexure II. 7. Bidders should submit all the relevant supporting documents as part of submission. All such documents should be sealed and signed by their Authorized Signatory. 8. If any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect at a later date, the bidder shall be liable to be debarred from participating in any of the future bidding process of the Bank. The bank reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently. 9. It may be noted that, in case any of the empanelled bidder does not respond to the RFQ on three different occasions or expresses their inability to quote in response to the RFQ, they may be delisted from the empanelment. 10. The Bank reserves the right to scrap the empanelled list of vendors at any time, without assigning any reason. The Bank s decision in this regard shall be binding and final. 5 11. The Bank reserves the right to procure Servers & Storages through an open RFP process, irrespective of the currency of the empanelment concluded under the EOI process. Submission of EOI proposals Response to this EOI should be submitted in a Sealed Envelope. The sealed envelope should be superscribed as Expression of Interest Servers & Storage Boxes and addressed to DGM-ITD, IDBI Bank Ltd, 5th Floor, Mafatlal Centre, Nariman Point, Mumbai The last date of submission of EOI is indicated in the Control sheet in Page 1 of this document. NO EOI will be accepted after this date and time. In case the designated day gets declared as a public holiday. The date for submission of EOI may be extended to the next working day. We shall extend our back to back service support and assurance of availability of our equipments and their components, in case M/s ( Bidder) is the successful bidder in any of the RFQs issued under this empanelment.
