Chamber will ensure we are seen as the voice of Canadian business, and that federal government defends member interests at the negotiating table. Canadian government continues to pursue NAFTA modernisation as a negotiating objective. The CCC has been actively vocal on the NAFTA file. This includes through appearances at Parliamentary committees, active media and social presence, submissions to government outlining member priorities, and leading business-tobusiness missions to several US states. Event was also hosted during Montreal negotiating round. Securing North American Steel Production and Products through a Letter written on November to Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and responsible for Canada-US relations. CCC will host webinar for Chamber Network to brief wider network on the issue. 7
