The WAX/PVC sealed tenders along with Earnest Money Deposit of ` 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) drawn in favour of The Director, CIIL, Mysore by way of demand draft should be enclosed. 3. The WAX/PVC sealed tenders should be address to The Direct, CIIL, and Mysore and sent on or before 22/06/2016 tenders as well as tenders without the proof of EMD will not be considered. 4. Separate tender document is to be prepared for Technical and Financial bids as per the details explained below:- a) Technical bid in WAX/PVC sealed envelope should contain all the sheets of tender document and certificated as per Annexure-I. b) The Financial bid in the separate WAX/PVC sealed envelope should contain complete information as per Annexure-II. c) The above 2 said covers should be placed in a common cover duly WAX/PVC sealed. d) Contact period : One year may be extended by mutual consent. 6 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATING TO CONTRACT FOR MAINTENANE OF GARDEN IN THE CIIL CAMPUS, MYSORE. 1. The contract will be awarded after the through scrutiny by the Committee constituted by the Institute. 2. The contract will be initially for a period of one year from the date of award. The contract may be further extended for any specified period if the performance of the agency is found satisfactory. Either party can terminate the agreement during the operative period by giving three months notice in writing. 3. The Institute reserves the right to terminate the said contract at any time on the ground of ineffective services rendered by the agency. Likewise, the Institute will be the sole judge to determine the facts. 4. The contractor should submit Security Deposit in the form of Bank Guarantee from a nationalized bank for an amount equivalent to three months bills at the time of commencement of the contract. 5. The personnel employed by the contractor/ agency shall be above 18 years and below 40 years of age and well disciplined and must be medically and technically fit and skilled enough to carry out the specified job. The contractor should also ensure that no police complaints/ litigation on the labourers. 6. Depending on the nature of job to be performed, sufficient number of women workers should be engaged. 7. The contractor shall engage the skilled persons for 6 days / week, 26 days/month. 8. The rates quoted by the contractor should ensure payment of minimum wages applicable for Central wages as notified by the office of the Chief Labour Commissioner, Ministry of Labour & Employment, New Delhi. 9. The contractor must submit the details of remittance of ESI and PF of each employee every month for scrutiny. 10. The payment to employees should make on or before 8 th of every month. 11. Sufficient Materials like pipes, Garden Cutting Machines, Red earth, Neem cake, Pesticides. Grass Cutting Machines should be supplied for 7 acres in the Institute. 12. Seeds of plants during the time of flower show every year. 13. This bill for the purchase of above materials to be submitted along with the monthly bill. *****
