2 Why Vote? Your opinion is important. You vote for the person or idea you think is best. You change the future when you vote. Voters can give their opinion and make a difference. Can you vote? 6 Voter Registration Form: Political Parties Directions: Read about political parties. You can choose a political party. A political party is a group that shares ideas about government. Two examples of political parties are Republican and Democratic. President Bush is Republican. Former President Clinton is Democratic. Other examples of political parties are the Libertarian Party, Green Party, American Independent Party, and Peace and Freedom Party. Directions: List two political parties. You do NOT have to choose a political party. If you do NOT want to write the name of a political party, you can check Decline to State. Directions: Check one Party Registration.
