6 Change Order No. 6 for Project No. 302 Project includes conversion of filters 1 20 at WTP II to biologically active filters, including the replacement of filter media At a project meeting in 2015, Operations was informed that filter media was onsite for the project, but was not needed immediately Operations had a need for additional filter media at other locations and suggested using the onsite media and replacing it later The change order includes funding from Operations budgeted items to pay for the filter media in an amount of $185, Others items are included in the change include four 36 valves and tees in an amount of $219, Total change order amount: $405,247.94

9 Carolyn Hunt Trust Estate Staff anticipated an action item for the Board in March or April Negotiations are ongoing related to the Carolyn Hunt Trust Estate (Trust) related to impacts of the MSPS construction (easements and alternate source of water for wetlands) The Trust recently engaged a new consultant for advice Staff recommends tabling item until the next Water Committee meeting

18 TRA Raw Water Purchase Agreement NTMWD Board approved an option contract to purchase water from the Trinity River Authority (TRA) in March, 2015 A Raw Water Supply Contract has been negotiated and was approved by the TRA Board at their February 24, 2016 meeting The NTMWD Board will consider a resolution authorizing the execution of the agreement at the April 2016 Board Meeting

26 Wylie South Substation Relay Replacement 2012: Substation testing began. 19 Feb 2016: Inspection identified 3 Relays out of tolerance at South Substation. Relay failure imminent and will shut down substation. When is unknown, but more likely under peak demand conditions. Replacements have a 14 week lead time. Work is specialized. With limited options for turn key project contractors. District has proceeded under emergency conditions to replace relays for $210k.
